I suggest intake of any ecig related information you're interested in. My switch to a VV/VW (Tesla) was a major improvement over basic eGo/EVOD and really gave me the mind set of complete switch to vapor. What I enjoy doing now is spending any money saved on cigs (it'll be plenty trust me) and using that towards advancing your setup or trying new flavors.

20 year reformed smoker myself and it's been 14 months without one. I say great choice on the MVP 2.0. I have both a black carbon and a silver one that I use at work, they are virtually indestructible, I've had the silver one for close to a year. It's pretty beat up but still works great. I use a Protank 3 on mine most of time at about 11.5-12.0 watts, they go together pretty well. You just gotta keep messing with it until you find your sweet spot, which will change depending on what you've got on top or what juice you're vaping. That's the beauty of VV/VW. I love the fact they will last all day and most of the next and still have a green light. It's one of the only devices I have where I'm not constantly messing with charging it or changing batteries or whatever. Enjoy!

I'm a 25+ year smoker and just quit cigs last week using an evod setup, already purchased an mvp v2 and loving it, as Jh7704 said, you just have to learn to find that sweet spot, and it WILL be different for every tank and juice, sounds like a pain having to constantly change settings, but the 3-4 seconds it takes pays off with a better vape and more flavor.

Newbie to this site but vaping for several months. Stopped smoking may 4th. Yahoo!

I have a vamo v5 and use a Kanger aero and the new mega. Just ordered the pioneer4you ipv2 and yiloong kaiser and fogger v4 and plan to begin building coils.

Posting for first time (toward my "five") so I can participate in thread about 50 watt box mods.

Bought a iTaste EP about a month ago....just took the plunge a got a MVP 2....already loving it! Still on the VV/VW curve. any suggestions? Smoked for about 20 years and love how easy it is to just cross over!

Welcome!

Really, the only suggestion for the MVP2 is to start low and work your way up until you find exactly what you like. Basically, when you have gone too far, you'll get a burnt hit - just back down on whichever setting.

I've often seen that VV v. VW is the difference between driving a manual (VV) or an automatic (VW) transmission. If you run in VV mode and are switching coil resistance a lot, you may have to tinker with your settings more often (hence, the reference to "manual transmission".) If you are in VW mode, most of the time, you can switch toppers (resistances) and still run about the same wattage and adjust the voltage accordingly (hence, "automatic transmission".)

The volt range is 3.3-5.0; the wattage range is 6.0-11.0. A lot depends on the resistance of the coils you're using and the type of juice. I run about 1.7-2.0Ω on the coils I build and I'm generally between either 3.6-4.1V or 7.0-9.0W (depending on what buttons I want to push that day ;))

I simply suggest playing with the settings to find what works best for *YOU* :)

Enjoy the vape :vapor:

Not much. The MVP is a nice little widget. You tried iClear 30s tanks? I like them myself. Use them on my VTR. Dual coil and juice hogs but nice. Very nice...
