My e-cig was just shipped today. I can't wait. This will be the 3rd time I try to quit since Sept. I went cold turkey for 2 months then Thanksgiving came around and was around 2 smokers and got a craving. Of course I gave in. Tried around the new year lasted 6 days. For me I think it's the oral fixation and I hope this helps me. I'm also the guinea pig for my sister and brother in law. We have all been trying to quit since NC raised their taxes then the fed taxes were raised. We used to be the lowest taxes in the country. Now on Jan. 1 we have followed most of the country and banned from smoking in restaurants and bars. Never thought I would see the day, because this state is tobacco country.

I ordered the kr808 from Vapor4Life. I wanted a 2 piece unit. Because knowing me the "hobbie" part of it would bore me after awhile. I also ordered some juice from Ms.Ts and it should arive shortly also.


I'm hearing alot about the 555 juice. Can somebody give me a description of the taste?

Welcome Tyger to ECF! Sounds like you made a great decision on your ecig and your juice! I think once you get your PV that you will be extremely happy that you chose vaping! Many members here have quit analogs the first day they started vaping and others have cut their use down considerably. Hopefully you can get the rest of the family off to a healthier choice once they see how great vaping is! Sorry that I can't give you a review on 555 yet. I just ordered it myself and have not received it but I am sure that someone will post a review for you shortly. Good Luck and let us know how it is working for you once you get your package!

I think the 555 is pretty good. It has.. as the description for it says, a kind of nutty flavor to it. I really liked adding it into my menthol juice, gave a real nice tobacco undertone to it. I am trying to think of a tobacco that is most like it and I can't really. I would say maybe a marlboro 27 if it had hints of nuts and was a tad sweeter.

I like it well enough. Though the smell of the juice itself wasn't favorable to me.. it has an oddly strong scent.

The shack555 I got from diyflavorshack had a sort of cakey taste to it - I really liked it lol and it was free sample so that was even better! Alas diyflavorshack is closed atm as the owner is sick but should be open again next week.
Theres also a vapor place in NC itself - myfreedomsmokes - that does mail order/internet if you want local. ( Tobacco, soft drink & coffee flavored juice | My Freedom Smokes )
I haven't had any tobacco flavors from them so I can't comment on their product.
I hadn't planned on quitting cigs btw, when i gt my 510 it was jsut to cut down and save a bit of cash. I ended up quitting a 20 year habit inside a week.
It was so easy I can't tell you 'how' I did it because it seemed so natural to stop the cigs and go with the PV that it didn't feel like I was doing anything special. Good luck and welcome to ECF
