Hi everyone.

I'm new to the vaping scene. I've been off cigarettes now for around a month. I love vaping and have been trying to get information on certain things and have been unsuccessful, hence why I'm joining this community.

I bought a Kangertech Subox Mini (starter kit) and I've been happy with it so far, however, I feel myself filling the tank one and a half times per day so now I'm looking for a new tank to go onto it. I found a Kangertech subtank plus online, I can't however find out if it'll work on my kit. Is anyone able to shed some light onto this? Ideally I'd like a 6ml minimum tank to go onto it without having to buy a new kit altogether. Any help will be much appreciated. Cheers in advance folks.

From what I can see, both tanks are almost identical except for the size.

They both have the 510 connection which is pretty much standard, the coils are the same ohms. I would say as long as your battery can handle 12-30W you should be just dandy.

I'm also pretty new to this, so I hope this helps!

Welcome by the way :D!

That other subtank should work just fine on your Subox. That's a general mod and designed for anything with a 510 connection. A 6ml tank is another story. Are you using the subohm coils in your subtank? If so, I don't know of any. I have an Aspire Mega Nautilus that's a 6ml tank, but it doesn't coil that low. What I do is just fill two tanks and swap them, or refill using the Innokin uCan. I tend to carry a spare tank, a uCan and a spare battery in my "car kit," which is build around an SX Mini M mod.

If you use the Subtank Plus with the stock .5 ohm coils, your juice consumption will not go down. The sub-ohm coils eat up a lot of juice. I use one with the .5 coils and fill it up two or three times a day. If your goal is to cut down on juice consumption, go to the 1.5 ohm stock coils or do your own higher resistance coil on the RBA deck.

I'm assuming your speaking about connection wise/threads? most tanks/rda's are 510 connection along with mods only thing that seems to really change is the diameter of the tanks/decks themselves as I know some mech mods are smaller in diameter then the tanks and so it will catch on your skin or irritate you when vaping because the rta/rda's are fatter. other then that what also seems to change is the builds mods can run some won't run under say .3 ohms while others can. most tanks/rda's list what connection they are and if it doesn't it is safe to say it's 510. tank sizes pretty much don't matter like a 3ml tank vs idk 5ml typically what I see is just taller tanks coonections are the same while diameter stays the same. it might change flavor profile though due to height but idk if it really is noticeable but I highly assume flavor and possibly vapor production are impacted by height due to less travel distance but again I think it's very small.

Im not sure if you want to stick with the kangertech but I have an idea for you. There has been an Aspire Atlantis upgrade tank floating around for a while. You can probably pick up the version 1 Atlantis tank for pretty cheap (cant find the V1 tank at very many places online) In addition to the tank, you have to get the tank upgrade which gives you an extra 3 ml or 5ml capacity, depending which one you go with, without making your tank too big around. (I do believe the tank will still be 22mm, it just makes it a little bit taller.) Also you can buy different resistance coils for the atlantis to accommodate your mod which fires down to .3 if I'm not mistaken.

The Kraigen 8ml Atlantis Tank 8ml tank with option to buy atlantis clone base, this one is pretty larger in diameter
5ml or 7ml Aspire Atlantis Tank $2.46 | Best Vape Deals more info and two options for upgraded tanks (the 5ml tank isn't available on this site, so I included a separate link.)
Aspire Atlantis 5ml Extended Replacement Tank Aspire brand 5 ml tank
Authentic Aspire Atlantis V2 Sub-Ohm Tank - 101 Vape Atlantis V1 full tank, one of the few sites that has it in stock

(I know from experience that the 5ml and 7ml upgrade works well. I can't speak for the 8ml upgrade because I haven't ever used it.)

It wasn't very hard to find this stuff. You might can pick up a Atlantis V1 at your local vape shop.
Ohh and Im not an aspire fanboy, its just the only option I can think of that allows you keep the stock size diameter and not lose the quality of your vape.

I hope this helps you out, let me know what you think.

Welcome to the family and Vape On!
