Hi Boss77.

Good to hear you are down to 8-10mg Nic. But how much liquid do you go through in a day?
I started on 22-24mg and vaped about 1ml a day. As I decreased the Nic there was a noticable increase in consumption.
I am now vaping abuot 1-2ml a day. I can easily vape 2ml. It doesn't help that the flavors are nicer than tobacco.
I still fight the urge to vape at times.

So the Senio is a genesis I have one on order I expect it to arrive in a couple of weeks.
Any suggestions on VG/PG ratios? That work well with this RBA?

I received my Cobra and Nautilus the other day. I have re-coiled the Cobra as the coil from the factory looked like crap on a stick.
I pulled the whole assembly apart to familiarize myself with the setup. All components were washed with hot water and dish detergent.
Rinsed, dried and re-tightened the mesh wick by rolling on a hard surface. The resistance coil wire measured about Ø 0.17mm and 50mm long.
I noticed the coil was quite black like it was oxidized.
I built the coil on the supplied allen key 1.5mm tight wrap then spaced the coils to stretch about 5mm.
It was a straight cut piece of wire with no nonresistance wire on the ends. The tails were oriented to point at the connection points.
These were gently tightened as to not pull the coil wick assembly off the natural path. The bottom end of the wick was raised so it cannot ground on the bottom of the tank. I started testing the Ohms with Variable Volt lava tube. The resistance started out a little high dry. High resistance or ohms actually have lower numbers. E.g. high resistance is 1.0 Ohms low resistance is 3-4.0 Ohms. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Some 100% Vg E-liquid was applied directly to the coil. It was amazing as the wick sucked it all up in an instant. This gave me an indication of its wicking efficiency, I was impressed.
More liquid was applied and resistance was checked, came at about 2.3-2.4Ohms consistently. So I fired it and I was really careful to look at how the coil reacted. There was a hot spot and a lot of smoke and popping, sizzling and crackling. The hot spot looked bad, it was the connection gap between the center post and the start of the coil.
With some tweaking I managed to get a really nice consistent glow over the whole coil(tested at low volts 3.0v).
It seems there has to be contact with the SS mesh wick so it needs to be slipped inside the coil so the coil slightly stretches to accommodate.

It started to work, nice even glow with no hot spots. Added more liquid and burnt some more tests. I couldn't believe it was actually that easy. Hang on I had half the work done already. I think the keys to the success were the coil was pre oxidiZed and the wick was also nicely blackened like a dark grey/black color.
So I filled the tank 2.5ml on the Mini Version, just right as I like them compact. Replaced the filler screw a couple of non-heated draws to help the wick do its thing. The moment of truth...Woo got vapor, indeed yes.. So after breaking in a virgin SS mesh maybe 2.5mls later had it cranked all the way up to 4.0v with impressive vapor and flavor....It does work. I was quite relieved. It does need some tweaking every now and then but the main cause for this is removing the cap as it is very tight and you can knock the SS mesh wick assembly when the cap comes off.
After some trial and error I figured the air draw hole has to be oriented to flow air directly on the coil/wick this keeps it cool and flow the flavor and vapor. I think this can be adjusted slightly to vary the way the unit produces vapor.
The Nautilus has not been covered as it never got further than getting the hot soapy water wash process.
Once I get enough experience on the Cobra I will probably start investigating the Geny type atomizer.
