Hi guys! Totally new to all this so be gentle. I've just bought one of these....

Electronic Cigarettes - eGo Type - Ego XL Clearo Kit 1

What type of battery do I need for a back up? It says 510 thread, does that mean any battery with 510 thread will fit?

Sorry if this seems a dumb question but I want to make sure before spending!

thanks in advance!

The 510 reffers to the thread style on the top of your battery. This is what your cartomizer, atomizer, tank, clearo, ect... attach to. Others have 808 or 901 type thread tops. almost all 510 stuff is compatable with other 510 stuff from any company. Rarely there may be a small gapp between the fitings, but again this is rare. 510 is the most common thread pattern for e cig bats. If you find you like any paticular 510 product, it should fit just fine.

By the way, drink alot of water. Vaping dehydrates you.

If you get a a couple hours to sit in front of your computer, watch some of GrimmGreens videos at GRIMM'S VIDEO ARCHIVE He's entertaining, honest and informative about the various products available to vapers. He has several videos on the eGo. I always check out his site before I make a purchase and he has not steered me wrong yet. You'll also find a bunch of info about eGo on YouTube: Just do a search. You can always email one of the vendors at ECF that sells eGo batteries.

I don't own an eGO, but have been looking at the eGo twist lately. Looks like a nice device I can use at the airport while waiting for my flights. Need something discreet if you know what I mean. Most of my mods are not discreet and my 14500 mod does not always cut it with a well used atty.

Not a dumb question by the way.

You're welcome. Understand the charger you got with the eGo-T will charge standard eGos, Riva, Kgo and Twist batteries. If you're not in a rush I would try and wait for the Christmas sales.

Wow! Thanks for all the help guys! I feel a lot more confident about my purchase now! I did waste around £40 by getting an e-lite first but now I feel I'm on the right track and hopefully cut out the analogs altogether!

Thanks again for all your help!

Thanks, I didn't even consider that chargers may be different.

Do prices drop enough for me to wait or should I just get on and buy more of the juices that I like?
