Hello,
I still consider myself a newbie but have been vaping for the past 3 months constantly. I was able to go a whole week without analogs and the dreadful withdrawal. This was a huge step for me since I have tried quiting so many times but always went back to the analogs.
I started with V4l and V2 cigs. I loved V4l due to the fact they are quick with their orders and their products were great. lately I have been noticing that items I have recently ordered just are not the same quality as before. V2 cigs seemed like a great solution but its been 2 month and still have not received a full order from them. The constant issues of having batteries and carts working one day and then not the next is just becoming a hassle. More recently my carts are not lasting as long as some other ones.
I have started this past week trying to fill blank carts with some juices I have tried and love from Vaprite, which I found on this forum. My question is I am looking to take the next step with my vaporing. Any recommendations on products that would allow me to still vape at work (which I was told I can only do in the bathroom so no one would complain). Also, I vape more at home since my husband is still on analogs and the urge for one is sometimes hard.
I am looking for any advice on products and some recommedation on what i should look at next. My main concern is vaping at work and then heavly vaporing when I and home
Sorry about this being so long but I figured let me post what I use know and the reason why hoping someone can guide me to a better product...Thank you, Raine

Get thee an eGo or tornado for long battery life.It is also pretty versatile because allmost any 510 accesory will work with it.
If you want to use the v4l or v2 cartomisers, you will need a 510-901/808 adapter.
the eGo battery is a little larger diameter than the v4l or v2,but not so much that it is hard to "stealth vape"(I can't believe I just used that term,I enjoy making clouds 'o fog.)
Good luck finding your perfect vape,I'm still looking too,but I think I have found it with the provari!

The eGo does seem very popular right now. I think the Riva is another one that doing well. For me I skipped them and went with a box mod for the better batteries and so I could use a LR cartomizers without worry. The eGo and clones have a problem with the switch getting killed my the LR stuff.

Good luck and happy vaping.

Since you like the 808 style cartomizers (me too), you could look for different cartomizers, like the CE2, which have no filling. They come prefilled, or, you can do like me and hit up OneStopDiyShop and learn how to mix your own flavors. You can look for different types of batteries as well. My battery lasts me an entire shift at work (vape at desk) and then some puffin at home before bed. It usually dies, and I know it's time to crash out ;) On my weekends though, I usually have to recharge at least once to make it through a day of steady vaping.
I use the kr808 - and the latest fuss is over the pigcig (horrid name, I know) over at LeCig, PigCig by LeCig
It's sorta like the 510 style eGo, Tornado, Riva, et al (giant battery), but it's made for the 808 cartomizer to fit. It does appear to look better with a mega cartomizer though. I'm about two shakes away from ordering one just for the power/longevity.

If you like the cartos you are using from v4l...the kr808 model ones
then an elegant would probably suit you better than an ego
http://www.cigeasy.com/product_p/elegant1.htm
this is basically a larger battery for the carts you already have it should last twice as long as the batteries you are using between charges....the kit linked is a two piece but they do have a one piece for cheaper.

If you don't like your current cartomizers.....the kr808 ones...then there are a ton of options available from ego's to full on mods just depending on your price range and how long you want your batteries to last.

The next step up is definitely the Ego. Youll want to get it from Liberty Flights. They seem to always have the best price on them. The battery life for the standard 650 mAh is about six hours of heavy vaping. The 900 mAh battery will add about 2-3 hours onto that.

Also, you want to start refilling your own carts on a more consistant basis. Prefilled carts are easy but in my opinion are very inconsistant.

Dripping is also something to look into. I find that LR atomizers are best for dripping. Avid Vaper was suggested to me for the cicso spec LR atomizers and I couldnt be happier with them. They are more expensive than normal atomizers but the vapor production is more than triple that of the normal atomizers I was using. And the flavor of my juices is stronger as well.

Juices are also soemthing your going to want to experiment with. Sample bottles are your friend. Its ok to try a bunch and not like some of them. Once you find what you like, you'll more than save that money back. plus you can always trade that juice with others in your area or here on this forum...and youd be surprised how many juices I didnt like at first taste but a month or so later tunred into one of my favorites and vice versa.

I don't know how flexible your workplace is, but for work I got a Rosewill 4-port USB to AC adapter at NewEgg (2 actually, one for home and one for work), and I bought extra USB battery charging cables, so I could keep a couple of cables at work. I charge batteries while I'm at work. I usually carry 3 batteries with me, 2 I alternate and a 3rd I charge just in case I have a total battery failure.

Wow, Do you really need that many batts and chargers?
I have a 510 setup and my primary batt is the standard EGO 650mAh battery. (lasts for 2 days)
I carry a 510 XL batt with a spare atty/cart and a 6ml bottle of smoke juice.

I have been vaping for 8 months. I started with the smoking everywhere and went to cloud9 for better reliability. But I gave up as they were not cutting it for me. I found the 510 type with the manual button and I haven't looked back. The ability to take as long of a drag as I want is great. I now use the EGO and EM RIVA batteries as they last me up to 2 days. I also mix my own liquid now and I am going through about 4-6ml/day. I love the 510 and the options for batteries and the prices for parts is really reasonable too.

I just received a Riva from liberty flights yesterday ($30 and $2.99 shipping) and am more than pleased with it! Good vapor production and the battery lasted a long time (750 mah) compared to my joye 510 which I burnt 3 batteries in 1 month! Apparantly I don't vape as much as most but my 1st battery lasted 12 hours! I am amazed to hear people say they only get 4-6 hours on one as I use mine pretty often and Vape way more than my wife does! I was a heavy smoker also for 30 years! The size is just right and easily carries in my shirt pocket and produces the same consistent hit every drag! I'm impressed with it and shipping was super fast (3 days from san diego to indianapolis)
Whether you get this brand or not I hope you find what you are looking for and best of luck to you!

Thank you everybody for your suggestions! I am going to look into what you all have recommended. Another quick question since I have found juice flavorings that I like (no chemical after taste!!). I was wondering which unit is the easiest to fill and without hassle when I am on the go? This might have been answered but still trying to get use to the terms of the different units.

The easiest method of vaping when you're on the go is cartomizers, you can get cartomizers with the connection for whatever ecig you choose. I'm a dripper myself so I have only used a few of the standard cartos. The standard cartos are very easy to fill, but with the newer cartos you need to fill with a syringe (no first-hand experience). I would suggest getting a bigger battery if you are going to be vaping-on-the-go because you won't have to fiddle with charging them so frequently.

I second the carto suggestion, and I like the RoyalSmoker ceramic cartos. I bought 25 of them, traded 20 of them off because I decided I didn't like them, and now will be ordering more because, now that I've adapted to vaping, I find them preferable to regular cartridges and separate atomizers. <sigh> I can put a little over a ml into one, and it'll last me for several hours.

So my second suggestion would be not to be hasty in getting rid of things, because the things you don't like today might be your first choice next week.

GRRRR,,,I keep typing things without thinking about them, but it being the new members forum, I just never think about mods. So, self-censuring myself, I take that back. The easiest method of vaping while out and about would be a self-feeding mod, like a wetbox.
