Newbie...Looking to validate my ordering selections

1 - 1.5 packs a day for 16yrs.......DAMN, its been that long! Been researching a bit but there so much data out there.

I think I want the following: (as I want to do it right from the get go...plus I mod mostly ANYTHING I own...so I need that open option as well)


The 510 MAP-Tank E2 Mod 3.2 ohm White
5v Wow Mod COV 510 Drip Tip Smooth Tapered
4.8v 600 mAh Mod Battery
5ml Juice injector

Other than charger/juice...am I missing anything?

As far as juice goes...I havent found a "Marlboro Red" type juice out there..? I do however see a ton of "flavored" types. Looking to get a "red" taste and then maybe try other tastes.

Any help would be great!

I think kick bass vapor has a "cowboy" flavor, among other places. Get a dct map tank instead of the ce2 one

Did you get a battery charger? And cartos? It says you need: "This tank uses a E2 XL Size Carto" And two batteries, but I think you know that.

I think you are doing darned well, I started with those miserable Joye 510 stick things, useless I tell you, just useless! I have not seen this mod before, but it looks like a great beginning. I'm going to look at it some more just because.

That is a cute mod, but cannot tell if it has a well at the atty connector, to collect liquid.

Unfortunately, I like even higher, but 5v got me to stop smoking, higher helps me stay there.

In addition to all the above, you need to know that you may need tons of paper towels, kleenex, napkins, qtips, and alcohol for cleaning things.

Make sure that you have a charger AND at least a couple of batteries that you can rotate (use one while the other charges).

Excellent! I met the guy who owns Clouds of Vapor at a vaping meetup in Chicago last week. He seems very into mods and very dedicated! I'm sure if you call him he will tell you if you need anything else.

I'd also grab a couple of boxes of cartos (you won't use the tank all day everyday), plus some spare pre-drilled cartos. Looks like you're on the right track to get a good start to vaping.

I seem to be all set here except for the Cartos...not sure the difference between 1.5/2/3ohm.

Whats the consensus on making/mixing your own eliquid...looks simple and cost effective.

The only reason you won't use your tank all day everyday is that you're new to vaping, you're not sure what you'll like in relation to juice flavours. You don't want to fill up your tank with a juice you've never tried before only to find you hate it. There's also some juices that you'll like but won't want to vape all day. I love peppermint, but I only like to vape it for an hour or so a couple of times a week to refresh my palate. It would take me a month to vape a 6ml tank of peppermint. I think you'll find you'll use your tank for your favourite juices, the ones that have earned a spot in your tank. This might end up being 2 or 3 different juices. All the other juices are best tried in a 1ml carto first or dripped in an atomizer.

Getting a 5 volt model was an excellent idea on your part. I am not familar with that particular one, but if it works as well as one like the GLV2, you will be a very happy vaper!

Since you went with the WOW mod, you need the 3.0ohm cartomizers or you'll pop the coils on the lowered ohm'd ones. Rule of thumb, the higher the voltage is in the mod your using, the higher the ohm rating you need. For 5 and 6V, I use Boge 3.0ohm cartomizers.

I regularly use 2.5 ohm and dual coil cartos on both my 5 volt and variable volt models without any problems. Of course there really isn't any need to waste time with LR type cartos.

Pick up some atty's. It's the easiest way to test juices. Here's the thing, You smoked Marlboro. That's the pack you bought everytime. Vaping is not like that for most. Yes you'll have your go to flavor/flavors but, most have a rotation of different Juices. Trust me, You're gonna have to try more than a few till there's one that takes the place of your analog. Better to figure it out a dripping a few drops on an atty than filling a cartos with something that taste like a dirty gym sock that's been used to wipe armpits. Dripping is a lot easier than it sounds.

Ok, so I'll get a few 3ohm carto's. On the addy's, since i'll be 5v, go with the Joye HV 510 - Black? just want to make certain all items play/fit together nicely.

I would ditch the triple coils and just get either 1.5 or 2.0 dual coils

I tried the triple coils and they use juice up way to fast and you'll need to charge your batteries more often, I found I prefer 1.5-2.0 dual coils for 5-6 volts but you may find you like the triples better, thats just my honest opinion.

Switched routes alittle bit...went with GotVapes Ultimo VISION 3-Stage 950mah Box 510 - White Granite and 4 30ml of e-juice. i'll do a video once it arrives. All ordered yesterday.
