Thanks KevDon. I ordered 1 extra atomzier with the kit, but I think I'll go and order an additional battery along with a usb passthrough and some additional empty carts. I've ordered a ton of e-juice just because they all sound so good from all the posts. I think that not being able to run to the store will be the hardest thing to get used to and could send me waiting anxiously at the mail box like I am currently doing waiting for my first kit to arrive. Been checking USPS tracking like 4 times a day to see if there are any updates. Have you all found that this is actuallly cheaper for you than when you smoked analogs?

Hi Elin..!

NOPE....not yet. I live 8 miles away from the nearest Post Office, but yesterday I drove there to pick up my mail early in hopes that my 'package' arrived. It didn't. I am pretty sure it will come today.

So-oooo I am spending some time reading the FAQ thread 8-o I clicked on the "List of Common Symptoms" link/thread. There is an awful lot of information there. I highly reccommend it.

Keep me posted...at this point you may, after all, get your kit before me

Hey Elin - welcome to the forum. I would also recommend to try and buy as many small bottles of juice as possible (5-10mL vs. 30+mL). Some suppliers have sampler packs which are excellent to start off. In addition to trying different nic strengths, try different flavors as well. Taste is so subjective and there will be some stuff you love and some stuff you hate. You want to make sure you dont start with just one bottle and realize you cant stand the taste! I've made this mistake before and it had me back on analogs while I waited for new juice...

Cheers!

Just got my first kit yesterday. Got a janty ego about 70ml of juice wasnt sure if I was gonna need 16mg or 24mg of nic I smoke a little over a pack a day ohh bought an extra atti to but turned out to be a knock off so not to happy with that but gonna order a few more from different vendor for different flavors anyone know of a vendor thats doesnt sell knock off atti's? Ohh been vaping since last night have only had 3 analogs so far.:D

I'm saving money and thats with having a takle box full of different parts over 200ml of juice and 3 different PVs. I'm just thinking of how much more money I could save if I stopped purchasing now since I have enough juice to probably last me at least 6 months, probably a year with the parts.

It's good to hear that maybe the costs will taper off once I get established. Although, like Jennlsnoopy, with all of the flavors and choices of cig models, I'm worried I'll continue spending even when I have enough for months on end. I ended up ordering another kit yesterday (901) to tryout, and then I'll be able to use one while the 510 is charging. Now if even one of those will just come in so I can actually try this whole thing out!!! I think I'm smoking even more analogs just in anticipation & the anxiousness of waiting for one of the kits to come in! :) I've received 8 different flavors of e-juice from 2 sepaerate vendors in just 2 days after I ordered (Liberty flights and litecig). They sell soooo good!!! Looking forward to trying this whole thing out and to quite smoking. Everyone has been so helpful and kind on this forum. Thank you all so much for sharing info, advice, and experiences!

Hi EverHope,
After reading this forum till my eyes hurt everyday, I was really excited that this would work for me, and I've only taken about 8 vapes from this since I received it an hour ago, but I'm already quite sure I won't need to bother with a regular analog again. What's the use, when I can smoke/vape in the house without all of the stink now :) However, after the 7-8th drap, I am now tasting the mettallic taste everyone talks about. They say it will go away soon, but the first 7 or so vapes of the low Menthol carts I received with the kit were perfect for me. It was a bit weird with the first couple of drags because I am worried about over heating the atty, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of this by the end of the weekend :) I'm so excited for you too!!

I had similar issues with not understanding right away, forum users (one in particular) jumped to my aid.
I am getting a PCC any day now and am ordering a USB pass through. Along with an extra batt I should be in good shape.
I wound up going back to analogs temporarily because I didn't fully understand what I would need to vape consistently. Like I depended on the pre-filled carts that came with my kit and didn't order and e-liquid. That's on it's way.

Oh shoot, I wasn't on yesterday. No I didn't prime it at all. I just attached the parts and tried it. After the first 7-8 vapes, I started tasting the mettallic taste people have talked about, but it did eventually go away. Order juices!!! I can't say enough about juices and at least 1 pack of 5 blank cartridges! The stuff that came prefilled was okay, but nothing like using flavored stuff in a blank cartridge. (with a new cart I did "prime" the atty before placing on the filled cart- just by dropping a drop or 2 on the atty directly) Madevapes and Liberty Flight got my liquids and blank carts here in a 2 day! They are both fast! Order some quick :)

personally, i found the hassle of filling the carts 'just right' to be a pain in the ..... i was constantly flooding my attys, so i just direct drip now.

3 or 4 drops spaced out over the bridge to prime, take a puff, add another larger drop, and vape. that lasts me for about 5 minutes, by which time i've had my nic fill.

just my 2 cents

Oh my...bless your heart...I bet that tasted awful..! When the kit came it didn't mention anything about priming or blowing out the pre-filled primer. I am glad that someone told me that a new atty does not need priming as it comes -primed- all you need to do is blow it out. I think CaptJay told me that...thanks Capt'n!

When I did blow out the atty, I was amazed at how much liquid was in there, so to have Vaped that must have been super-icky!

I haven't used the -automaticl- atty yet, I started with the -manual- one. It is kind of clumsy, but efficient. When I use the other one it will probably feel more like a real cig?

It's too bad that I didn't get extra juice, but that's kind of working out better for me. I want to pace myself so as to see if I might experience any of the reactions that other people have mentioned in another thread.

I must say, I do like this vaping thing, it is truly like smoking. How has your weekend experience been going?

Take care

Kathy,
I am excited, my husband's excited, as I haven't smoked since I got the kit in and haven't even wanted to since then. It's actually been 48 hours that I quit !!! :) Just knowing I can use the e-cig whenever I have an analog craving makes this pretty much effortless. Plus, now that I've tried my blueberry pancake liquid from cigLiteusa, I don't know if I'll ever want to try a menthol again!! :) If you ever need a word of encouragement, let me know because I'm rooting us both on!
