Hey guys,
I'm totally new to vaping and wondered if I could get a little advice? I've got the innokin itaste ez.tc. When I'm vaping I get a bit of condensation/liquid in the top which doesn't taste very nice to say the least! It happens less when I have my dial turned up to 4 but I find that too hot! Where am I going wrong? Do I need to change my dial or change the air hole bit?

Excuse all them newbie terms lol I don't know what everything is called yet!

Also could anyone explain what the difference is between 0.5 ohm coils and 0.8? How do the results they produce differ?

Thanks guys,

Welcome. Sadly, I don't understand how your mod works but I do know that condensation in the drip-tip is not uncommon in general terms.
The reason why a vaping tank might get less build up at higher power is that more liquid is being vaporized keeping the coil (atomizer head) more 'dry'.
There are a few tanks which get a build up in the drip tip. I have 2 such tanks and get used to pulling out the drip tip and wiping around the recess a few times a day. It's not a deal-breaker for me actually, as it's a 10 second job once you get used to it.

The ohms of the coil is relative to your style really. A .8 will not need as much wattage as the .5
So where your good at a particular voltage on the .5, it might be a tad too much for the .8

Lower resistance builds are usually for more clouds (a direct lung hit)
The higher resistance is more mtl vaping (mouth to lung, like traditional smoking)

For example, I use a 1.2 and vape at about 12 watts most of the time and have little clouds and vape more like a cigarette.
Occasionally I will use an rda with lots of airflow and build at .4 and vape at 60-80 watts

It's on every drag I take so it's frustrating constantly wiping it. It seems to happen less with an 0.8ohm coil (I'm currently using a 0.5ohm) not sure if this is the right mod for me!

Oh... ohms....

Yes, the lower the ohms the more power your e-cig will vape at if you don't have any adjustable power feature. I would imagine your mod only has adjustable temperature limit, which is not the same thing.

Let's say your mod does output 4.2 volts on a fresh battery, then the vapor will be 35 watts on the 0.5ohm coil and 22 watts on the 0.8ohm coil.
35 watts is quite a bit, but not stupid levels of vapor. 22 watts is a fair vape for a new vaper. Most of the day I vape about 14w.

Gosh this is confusing haha!! I have no idea what my output is - it's just has a dial for variable temperature (190-240^C) and it says my maximum output current is 16A.

Don't worry, confused over here too.
Haven't even seen that device.

Can't you just turn the temp down and your good?

Nope I tried it on 190 and on 240 and it still does it. 240 is rather hot for me! I wonder if I change to a .8 coil it will make a difference

I think definitely.
Change to a .8
Try a lower temp as well.
Can't you turn the wattage or voltage down as well as the temp?
And try what @Cheallaigh said.

Longer drag and let button press seems to make it worse. Will definitely change coil asap and see if that helps. Can't alter voltage or wattage on this kit I'm afraid!

Thanks for everyone's advice though! ☺

@Littleladylea

Ok. I've just skipped through a review to see it in its glory.
The guy said you get 2 drip tips in the kit.
You want the bigger one with the .5 and the smaller with the .8
He said he only noticed an iffy hit with the .8 coil and high vg juice on setting 3 so...
Sorry I can't be of use. Here's the video though

Try releasing tge fire button 1/2-1 second before completing the inhale to clear the vapor from the Chamber
