I recommend eGo. No matter what you purchase, please make sure you have back ups because stuff happens.

Minimum 2 pv's, extra charger, e-juice and extra atomizers / cartomizers / clearomizers. Small bottles and sample sizes of juice are nice until you discover which juice(s) you like / dislike.

Welcome to ECF, congratulations on your decision to vape.

Vision VV Spinner. I own both Twists and Spinners and found:
Twist comes in 650, 900 and 1000 mah. Dial very narrow/ smooth and not easy to turn. Voltage numbers very hard to read/ invisible. Button occasionally sticks. On my 650 dial turns too easy while on my 1000 dial hard to turn.

Vision Spinner comes in 400, 650, 900, 1100 and 1300 mah. Wide knurled voltage dial easy to turn and easy to read voltage markings. 1300 mah Spinner is the same size as 1000 Twist.
Both variable voltage PVs above fire from 3.3-4.8 volts.
I owned the Twists and now use them as backups because the dial was hard to turn and I could not clearly see the voltage markings.
1300 Vision Spinner- 113mm or ~4.4 inches long; 16MM WIDE, 2MM WIDER THAN A STANDARD EGO
1100 Vision Spinner- 119mm or ~4.75 inches long
1000 Twist- Length 120mm(4.75")/Diameter 14mm

Because if you stand it on end it may fall over and break. I have some friends that use glass tanks on their Spinners and Twists and as long as they're careful they've had no problems...they just lay them down rather than stand them up. Most of us are using the Vivi Novas on them.

I just read that review, and he says NOT to use a glass tank with it..any idea why?

You're welcome. I have a number of friends/ converts that are arthritic and they could not use my Twist because of the dial being smooth. A few can use the Spinner but most decided to go with a push button VV- although larger than what they wanted they are able to adjust the voltage painlessly with ease.

Edited

Thank you boiler and Vapoor eyes er. That makes sense. And since I am known to drop things a LOT with my arthritic hands I guess I'll go with metal tanks for cinnamon and citrus when I progress that far. Always learning something here.

yeah, this cig alike just isn't cutting it anymore, having to recharge too often, 2x a day for each of the two batteries. Am currently waiting on a 900mAh kit with 2 batteries. Hopefully Tuesday, forgot tomorrow is a holiday :/ will probably go with a spinner next just for dial size.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE

2 Batteries, 1 Charger, and a USB/Wall Adaptor

spinnerbattery.jpg
Vision eGo Spinner (easier to read settings, easier to use voltage dial) or Joyetech eGo Twist variable voltage batteries.

eGocharger.jpg
Appropriate charger and possibly a USB/wall unit to provide the option to charge away from a computer port.

Juice Delivery Devices:

single coil cartomizers.jpg
A (5) pack of single coil cartomizers at 2.5-3.0 ohm resistance. You'll also need at least one drip tip (mouth piece) to put on the end of these.

clearomizer.jpg
A couple of clearomizers (Vision or Kanger T3) to try.

vivi-nova-mini.jpg
A Vision Mini Vivi Nova tank to try.

*All the above can be found at Altsmoke. AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs | Your one stop shop!

* Disclaimer: I provide the vendor's link only as a suggested retailer. A potential buyer can choose who and where to purchase their items wherever they wish. I have no affiliation with the suggested vendor, however they are a popular and reputable e-cig business used by many ECF members.

Juice, or e-liquid:

For e-liquid, a typical 1 pack-per-day smoker likely will need 18-24 mg nicotine.

Figure on consuming 3-5 ml of liquid daily.
