Im a newbie to the vaping world and I've been watching a lot reviews on you tube about e cigs.... So i am about to order my first starter kit and the halo g6 seems to stand out from the rest of the kits I've seen reviewed... Now i was wondering if someone can give me some feedback on the g6 and let me know if that is a wise decision for a starter kit....Also I am from Canada so i would like to know about what happens at the border if customs get a hold of my package and there is nicotine in my juice with my starter kit.... Will they confiscate the whole package or will they still send the kit but take the e juice? Another thing I would like to know is if anyone has ordered from halo and got it shipped to winnipeg or anywhere in Canada how long it takes?

Go with something, bigger.. Something you will grow into... Like a joytech eGo or volcano Inferno.

I made the mistake of getting a cig look a like battery (v2cigs) & now I'm getting bored with it. The batteries die all the time (charging @ least 4x a day, filling tons of carts per day = hassle).

Don't make the same mistake as a lot of us have. Go with something bigger so you don't have to upgrade & spend more $, like myself.

Hopefully ppl will jump in who have experienced the same as I have.

I bought that kit and a basic ego 900 mah kit at the same time. Played with both. Sold the g6 to a friend a couple days after. The ego kits really get you ready for the rest of the things you'll be buying and things you'll want to try like cartomizers and clearomizers. Those won't work with your g6. If youre gonna be on this forum you'll find yourself buying more "toys" quickly.

I had the G6 in the beginning. I wasn't impressed with their cartomizers compared to the cig 2o but I hear a lot of people like the smokless image cartos. The ones from halo work OK but just had a noticeably shorter life span. I liked the G6 batteries but I didn't feel they were a very good value because I used them for like 2 months and then after they sat for 2 more months or four months of total ownership one of the 2 didn't work.

Well i ordered the g6 anyways.... First time vaping... I just want to quit smoking so i will see how it goes and let everyone know as soon as i get my kit.... Im sure you guys are right about getting something bigger... Only time will tell,!!

I bought the Halo G6 as my first starter kit, the only mistake I made was getting 12mg cartomizers, I needed a higher level of nicotine. Now I'm using 24mg and I'm doing fine. I also bought some of Halo's Low Resistance cartomizers and I really like them. Since then I've also bought a Joyetech Eroll, it's even smaller than the G6, but uses a little tank system. I absolutely love the little Eroll, it's the closest thing to an actual cigarette that I've found. I don't regret buying the G6 and I still use it too. So I don't think you'll regret your purchase. Some of us are actually happiest with the smaller more cigarette-like batteries. If you have the time you can see some video reviews for the Eroll at YouTube.

Torque and Tribecca are my favorite Halo tobaccos so far. You have got to try the Kringles Curse it is my everyday vape. I was NOT a menthol smoker at all but the Kringles is all peppermint and oh so yummy. You can get blank cartomizers, I do recommend get a pack of lightly colored ones (but not the silver it has a taste of it's own to me) so you can write on them at keep track of which juice you have put in which.
I got prime 15 for my pre filled cartomizers... And i got the sample pack of e juice with the tourque, tiki juice, tribeca, and some menthol flavors. I also purchased some empty carts so i can try all the sample juices...

You're giving yourself a great start with the sampler kit. Also wanted to let you know there is a Canada Forum here at ECF. Just go to the main forum page, scroll down to National Forums link, click on that and you'll see Canada listed. They can send you a list of Canadian e juice suppliers and some other helpful info.

I personally didn't bond with my ecig over night, it takes a wee bit of time for some of us. You might have a sore throat for awhile, drink lots of water while you vape, and just hang in there, the payoff is really worth it. Much good luck! :)

I would say the small battery e-cigs are the gateway drug. They are perfect for getting that real cigarette sensation. I started with V2, then Halo G6, and kept the G6's and now my wife uses them the most, and I moved to eGo Twist, and love it with Smoktech tanks and Mega carto's with Dual coil, and have gone down a nicotine level, because the vapor and throat hit are better. However, I still pick up my e-cigs (small like the G6 or V2) and puff on them to feel like I'm back in the old days of puffing an analog cigarette. (You know those late nights where you want to sit at the end of the bed and puff a real feeling cig, like a rebel) But when I'm driving, or can get away with the different holding feeling of the eGo, then I go with that. I go back and forth, and know that if I started with the eGo I might have had a hard time, but I definetly recommend going with the smaller e-cig to beg, and then move up and go back and forth as that works good for me. My routing is: Wake up and hit the e-cig in the bathroom getting ready, switch to the eGo for the 30 minute drive to work, work all day with nothing (except for at lunch sometimes, I'll drive around and hit the eGo), and then the eGo at night with a tank or mega carto, and then back to the smaller e-cig for a menthol evening soothing session. Alls good with both sets.
