Halo G6 Newbie Questions

I wanted to post this in the Halo Section of the forum but being a newbie I am not allowed to do so.

1. The Halo G6 uses the kr808d1 size cartomizer, is that correct?

2. If that is in fact the case, is it possible to use any kr808d1 cartomizer with the Halo G6 batteries or are they threaded different?

3. In the initial charge instructions, it says to charge for 8 hours,use for 30 minutes and then charge for another hour and all subsequent
charges should be for 2 hours. Is it OK to leave the battery charging for more than 2 hours or does that shorten the battery life?

4. I really like the Halo G6 but would like to find a mouthpiece that fits on the end of the cartomizer. I found this post where dormouse
recommends using the KR808d-1Transparent color Delrin/Plastic Drip Tip from LiteCigUSA. Will that work as a mouthpiece?
Has anyone tried it? Does anyone have another recommendation or suggestion for a mouthpiece that will fit the Halo G6 cartomizer?

Love my Halo G6 , 1000% better than the Jasper & Jasper Xplorer which was my 1st try at e-cigs.

Welcome to ECF gacjr. After you get 5 posts and wait an hour, yuo can post elsewhere. I know dormouse will be here soon, she knows about the Halos, I'm still not sure about them, as I have never even seen one yet . And my first one was a J&J also, gotta admit it's what got me here, and now I have an eGo that I really love.

1. KR808D-1 is not a size. It is a model and a threading

2. You can use any KR808D-1 carto that is 2.5 to 3 ohms. Lower is for fat battery 450mah+ models and mods only. Higher is for high voltage models.

3. I charge my slim ecig batteries overnight and have had no problem. Fat model and mod batteries I charge in the day and take off the charger as soon as charged.

4. Yes - but you should try a few types. The Bloog cartos (and I think Halo G6 uses the same) have a bit larger opening than my Vapor4Life KR808D-1 cartos and some drip tips fit better in one than others. And at LiteCigUSA.net the plastic colored plastic ones are a bit loose in Bloog/Halo but work. The swirled plastic ones fit tightily in Bloog and are too tight for Vapor4Life. And at Gotvapes the marbled types of the nice Vase drip tips seem to fit my Bloog carto but the clear color I got (purple) has a thicker o-ring and is too tight.

I use the Halo G6 and I love them. As for charging, I try not to over charge altho they do have a cut off on them I read. I use a drip tip on my cartos, it is the same blue swirly one that is showed in my avatar on the GLV 2 SM (mod). It fits right in the G6 cartomizers. Now I have not tried other cartos on the G6 because I love Halos, so never tried another type. I think you will like the G6, I still use mine and switch on and off with my GlV, they are both great! I too remember seeing that Halo has overcharge protection, though I can't seem to find a reference for you. Anyway I've left both of my batteries on the charger overnight and I've had no problems.
