Hi all,

Complete newbie and desperate to get off the weed and on to vaping but I need pointing in the right direction.
I've been on e-lites for a week and now realise after some research I've probably made my first mistake. Don't get wrong, I'm enjoying the experiance and I'm confident I'll enjoy this as much as smoking but doing it with these ready made e-cigs and cartridges is looking expensive and of course you are limited to the flavours.
So I'm thinking of the http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/the-ve-riva-1100-deluxe-kit~151 , does this look like a decent kit? I assume it has everything to get started, just add juice?

I look forward to your advice.

I just switched from a cheap store cig-alike to a better kit myself. What I bought is almost exactly what you have in your link. I'm very happy with it. If your going to try different flavors I would suggest adding some attys to your order as it makes cycling through different juices for testing much easier. I went with slightly smaller batteries because I wanted something that would fit in my pocket easily and found the were plenty big enough. Lots of vendors have sample packs. I bought 25 different flavors just to try a bunch. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply.
Ok it's now going over my head, variable voltage? Different delivery methods?

I did a picture dictionary for new vapors showing desciptions and images of common juice delivery devices:

Each device heats the eliquid a little differently to produce vapor. People prefer one over another, having multiple options is a good thing.

Most of the more elementary batteries make vapor at around 3.7 voltage. There are more advanced batteries that use a boost circuit to create a higher voltage up to 6 volts. This has the advantage to create more vapor production or more throat hit. It can also be used to adjust the voltage to each flavor that you vape. Some taste better at lower voltages, some in the mid-range, and some at higher voltage. It is a way to provide a more enjoyable vaping experience.

Its all a little confusing and everyone has their own opinions. I started with the ego-t 650 mah. its small fits in my pocket easily and it came with a zipper bag for storing charger and juices. Mainly I feel I had to just get a feel for it myself. If you are fortunate enough to live next to a vape store that is the best alternative. Search yelp or google for one in your area.
