Newbie Nightmare! Helpppp meeee pleassseee!!!

So, I have just bought a Ego Evod started kit - Yay - no - not yay.

Spilled the juice all over lap top - but that's not the problem.
Problem is -I plug the battery into laptop and....
blue light flashes
battery goes red for 30 seconds then goes green - as if charged - but it doesn't vape. SO i plugg it back in and the same happens
blue light flashes
battery goes red then goes green.

What the heckers am I doing wrong. Was looking forward to this like a kid at Christmas but feel like Santa is dead right now.

Can you plug it into the wall socket with an adapter?

try pressing the button 5 times fast to turn on the battery. that MAY be the issue

Try pressing the button like five times in a row really fast. If it blinks a couple times, try to vape.

If it does not produce vapor, repeat. Rapid press, try to vape.

Report results.



Sometimes the batteries are turned off when you get them. You might just need to turn it on. (See above.)

Im a newbie as well but I have a similar set up. When you press the button does it light up? If not then press button 5 times real fast. Light should blink white several times. Then when you press it, it should light up and you are ready to vape

Yes you do need to press & hold the button while vaping & as others have said, you also need to turn the battery on - they come with a factory charge.

As others have mentioned, make sure it's turned on first. If it still isn't vaping and appears charged make sure your tank is getting a good connection to the battery. Don't make it too tight, just finger tight is enough. If it doesn't work try loosening just a touch [like a quarter turn] at a time until it makes a good connection and fires. I had a evod once upon a time that did the same thing, turns out it was just a finicky center post on the battery and adjusting the tank worked.

Glad you got it figured out. It's a pain to start with the learning curve if nobody shows you how to work the equipment but soon you will be in the world of rebuilding and mods, and we'll wipe our teary eyes, look at each other and said "Our baby's all grown up."
