On the 15th post of e-cig, my mailbox said to me....

Nothing yet. Mail arrives after 1:00 pm normally. I get the anxiety of waiting for an order to arrive, although I'm stocked up for the reasonably mid-to-short-long term as of today. So, I'll live. But I'd like to have all my stuff here.

Benefit #299/e-cig's - can be used as scratcher for itches behind the ears and other reachable locations, without leaving burn marks. MAJOR improvement over the standard cigarette for that purpose.

I'd like to thank the Academy and most of all the Chinese-English translators of my "Super Cigarette" instructional booklet for making this post possible. They really did a good job and clearly wanted to give some good information in that li'l book. My favorite quote: "When all the wrappers are placed off the cartridge, remove from the space that makes open into the proper alignment of the installed spot. When held for the mouth and the air is passed through from there the atomized air of nicotine will be enjoyed! Enjoy!"

I shouldn't joke - I would hate to read my English to Chinese translation. But they did a pretty good job and I'm in LOVE with my supplies and kit and have a special place next to my Invader Zim SleepyTime Pillow for all my e-cig stuff now, right where I can look over and see them safe and sound if I wake up in the night.

Aaahh...it's like all of those "some assembly will be required" instructions that come with stuff...........the disclaimers are the best. I was waiting for them to warn me...."not to be worn on the head, used as a flotation device or inhaled through the nose. If swallowed, seek immediate medical attention".....

Well, the saga continues and is moving to Chapter Two - "Alone/Together Again".

I've gotten a basic stock of stuff - 4 RN4081 batteries, 4 atomizers and some juce. I've ordered couple more juice types, and seem to be rolling along with reasonable success. I have about 20 carts, and have the refilling process down. I experimented with using Aquarium filter in the cart's, of which I have plenty and that worked okay. My orders have all gotten here, and everything's worked pretty much as advertised, outta the box.

The weirdest part of this is that at the beginning of this week, I had a kind of "lost" feeling. I've smoked since I was a teenager, and although there's been shifts in how much with a few times of "quitting", it's been steady.

Now, I don't "smoke", I don't take breaks the same way, my habits have changed and I realized today - I'm not a "smoker" anymore. So what "am" I?

I know I'm not vaping as much as I smoked, and when I take a few draws, I'm good for awhile. Sometimes it's steady, sometimes it's not. It's something I'm enjoying but not in the same way as ciggies. I found an old travel ashtray that I used in the car, and opened it up and the stank of the old tobacco reeked. The idea of all that smoke is now, hmmm, not a beautiful thing.

There's these periods where I'm not going to or from smoking, vaping or anything. But I am feeling as if I...should? used to?....need to?....do something. But it's not to grab for a cigarette.

In fact, the nic' hit is too strong sometimes, so I don't vape for awhile after that. It's an odd feeling, not doing anything related to or resembling "smoking" for periods of time.

Maybe it's just me. Overall, I feel good. I'm glad I found e-cigs. What the future holds - dunno!

I feel you my brother.

Maybe you are the same as me, maybe not, but I no longer smoke smokes.
And it has only been about 5 days for me.

I feel a very slight emptiness, I think, because I don't smoke as much.
And I don't smoke as much, I think, because this is giving me more nicotine than I bargained for.

I smoked about 3-10 Camel Lights per day for a long time.
So I got the "light" juice and it seems to be a bit more than I need.

What I want is to get the "ultra light" juice and smoke as much as I used to.
I don't really need the nicotine, just the experience and the break from work.

I think in the end everyone's needs are different.
And we all come from somewhat different perspectives.

Trial and error, along with some electronic learning and advice, should put us where we want to be.
And hopefully that is where I am heading, and hopefully, so are all of us.

God bless e-cigs!!! I'm in the same boat as most of you--found out about e-cigs...somehow...about two weeks ago, and now I'm well into my first week with my RN4081, the Gold edition from Smoking Everywhere, which is the same model as the NJoy Npro. Love it! Takes some getting used to and to find the "Groove" in getting a consistent good vape hit. Just started dripping my old carts; glad I saved all my empties!! Gonna get some wool to restuff the center holders. I don't like that the fibres are held with glue and I'm a bit leery at what I'm inhaling is some dried glue particles get caught up in the atomizer. Can't be good, can it??

I've also been about a pack to 2 packs a day consistently the past 20 years or so, with a 2-year quit period sometime in between. But that was some time ago. I now have one or two "tobacky" analog cigs per day, but I expect to be off them totally very soon. Anyone else also come to dislike the smell and overall...everything...about real cigarettes, even after a few days vaping? I'm getting little enjoyment out of those things....which is great! Keep vaping! Just let them try to take these away....

The "gurgle" noise you talk about to me meant that I had to blow out the atomzier; take it off and blow HARD through the bottom and let it drip out. You'll see the juice can get brownish, scorch....These are automatic batteries, so you don't want to chance juice leaking down into the battery hole. If you are refilling the carts (a GOOD idea, they are to expensive to buy pre-filled), don't overload them, and don't take hard puffs, just nice long puffs and that should heat the atty enough to stop the gurgle and keep your taste clean, with out the 'burn' taste. I paid $69 for my NPro, but 3 hours after I got it I smoked my last cigarette!

That's the stuff! Deadcat! I'm right about there on the meter myself. It's an odd feeling, sensation. Or sumpin'. I felt some chest hacking today and wondered what the heck that was about. Then it went away. I've felt pretty good overall the last few days, but in and out of this weird spaciness. I feel better knowing it's not just me.

I noticed that too waveho - the fibers in the carts have some kind of white plastic looking glue mess on the bottoms - so I've scraped those away too and tried other components to refill. I keep thinking I'll end up trying another brand of e-cig but I'm trying to make this work - less complications = good.
I also smoked some tobacco ciggies for the first week or so, first to compare, then - honestly - just stopped. I realized I didn't need or want them. I know I'm not the only one who feels downright heroic - I haven't gone out to get that 'safety' pack of smokes for over a week now and I'm gettin' cocky. (nervously checking my chargers for green lights...he hehe...)

Thanks Kate. I'm working on that - I don't think I'm going to clean these out with liquid anymore except as a last resort now. I've blown these out several times now (why does that sound just wrong ) and it seems to be working. They're happy anyway.

Yeah - this is woikin'! I think I can say it fo' real now - "I don't smoke".

The carts are about the size of 901's. I got white and orange 10 each.


I love my RN4081 (njoy). I have a challenge, who has a falied atomizer? I have yet to have one go bad. I stocked up, but they just keep going.

I use mine with box mods. I have a USB PT with manual switch. This unit sits near the PC and I use it for dripping.
I have one with a 14500 battery and manual switch for work and general stuff. I also use it for dripping.

I don't know how that compares to the 801 penstyle, but with the NPro it's bad news, because it will leak into the battery and the vapor output is actually less. They have a way of flooding fairly easily. I know, I killed one with too much liquid and the battery went berserk, which then burned out the atty.
