First post from a newbie. I've been vaping now for about 2 years after smoking death sticks for years. I haven't had an analog cigarette now for over 18 months, which is really really great.

So hello everyone. I've been reading and getting a lot of great information from the community here.

My current set-up is a Smok Zmax Telescoping Mod, but I've been through Atomizer after Atomizer trying to find something that gives big vapor and holds enough fluid to not need refilling more than once a day. I thought I'd finally found the solution with the Nautilus Aspire, which is how I landed here. The Nautilus, while nice looking and does give a nice hit of vapor, has an issue with the coils. They only were lasting me a day or two at best. And I visited my Vapor Store several times over the last 3 weeks to try to figure out if I was doing something wrong if there's really an issue with the system. I turned the wattage down, used less airflow, cleaned more often, all to no avail.

So three days ago after reading post after post from members here, all who were experiencing the same issue, I finally gave up on the Aspire and bought a Kangertech Mega. I had a smaller Kanger before and was very happy with it, except for how much juice it held. I have now been using the Kanger Mega for three days and I have to say it has EVERYTHING over the Aspire. It doesn't hold quite as much juice as the Aspire but still enough to last all day. But it works SO much better. There's no hint of the burnt aftertaste, I can push the wattage higher and the vapor it produces is significantly better than the Aspire and the coil is holding just fine..

The Aspire system seemed like a good option, but in practice it fell short on a lot of levels. Hopefully, this will help some members who have been frustrated with the Aspire like I've been.

Cheers

To be fair, Aspire just came out with new coils, which are very similar to cartos, that are said to work very well. And they're compatible with both Nautilus and Nautilus mini. I too gave up on my Nautilus after every coil I had was bad. When I get the extra $$$ I will probably purchase some of the new heads.

Welcome and congrats on quitting! Have you ever tried rebuilding a rda? (Rebuildable atomizer). The kayfun is a excellent choice with no leaking or dry hits and the flavor is amazing! The kayfun gives great vapor as well. It's a perfect rba for people just learning and it's a easy build. I finally got tired of buying coils all the time and having the tanks leak and the coils go out so quickly and started building my own. It saves money and the kayfun gives great flavor! You might want to consider it for the future.

Congrats on the switch! I too had great issues with the Nautilus, it was only trouble from the start. I haven't used it at all after I got the mega. The aerotank mega on other hand has worked perfectly for a month and a half until this week, it's been warm outside and the mega just gurgles. So I switched to kayfun again until the kayfun starts behaving bad, then it's back to the Mega. Planning on selling my Nautilus now, since I don't use it.

Well, if I see the new coils sometime, I may give the Aspire another try, but the Kangerteck Mega is everything I could hope for, so I'll probably stick with it for a while. I seem to have become a serial atomizer'ist anyway!

Hopefully, my Mega will keep me happy for a while. Is there much of a market for used atomizers?

I second the Kayfun... It's so rad!
