Newbie - passthrough question

I just got my first e-cig from the post office about 30 minutes ago. I have a battery charging, calmed myself down and read the manual (no retention, but dang it - I tried). I also got a passthrough...but I'm staring at it now, wondering if I'm supposed to let it charge, how long...

I know it's a stupid question and I'm sure there's 100 posts about it, but I'm hoping some kind person will be on here and be able to save me from the frustration of trying to search while in an OCD fit over getting my first e-cig

depends on the model

usually cigs will come with about a 40% charge

there should be a light on your charger that will turn off or change color when the cig is done, however it does work without a full charge.

Welcome to the forum, and very cute dog BTW.

You don't have to let a passthough (called PT on the forum) charge. The whole point of it is to run it dirrectly off the computer power. Even if there is a battery inline, as long as its pluged into your usb port, it will provide power.

The only stupid question is the one not asked.

if you mean how long do you let your passthrough charge? give it a good 15-30 minutes and it will be usable while still allowing the battery to charge

some passthroughs dont use batteries and dont need charged at all

THANK YOU!!!!! I got a 510, PT, 3 flavors of juice...and the PT has been hooked up for 20 minutes...so I'm off to start vaping!

I'd start using the PT now and let the small e-cig battery charge for a few hours, get it good and stoked up.
