Newbie Question About New Attys

My package arrived today from LiteCig with my two brand new 510 attys. My "I'm an ignorant newb" question is this:

Is there anything I need to do to prepare these before I actually use them? I'd like for them to last a while so I don't want to do anything stupid and kill them.

Please educate me so that I may continue in my new-found joy of vaping!

blow out the primer from the batt end, and drop some juice on the atty, and go to town

They will have some kind of "shipping fluid" on the coil/wick. I would recommend dripping 2-3 drops of your eliquid on the coil when you are ready to vape for the first time.

Yes blow them out. Blow hard from the opening you place the cartridge on. Place a tissue under the threaded part to catch the fluid. Prime as scuba said and cigar puff 3 or 4 times. Reload and vape away

The main idea is to get rid of any nasty taste that may be in there to start with...

My suggestion would be to perform these steps...
1) Blow the atomizer out completely
2) Put four or five drops of juice on the atomizer bridge
3) Blow that out completely too
4) Take a couple of small puffs and hope it tastes right
5) Repeat steps (2) and (3) until it tastes okay
6) Begin using as normal

Having said that, it's not what I do, this is what I do...
1) Rinse it out real good in hot water
2) Do just enough of a controlled burn to dry out the water
3) Put four or five drops of juice on the bridge
4) Begin using as normal

Thanks so much, guys! I tried all of your suggestions and now I have three clean attys with wonderful tasting vapor!
