Newbie question

Hi there , does anyone know what percentage is right for the perfumers apprentice RY4 double? i have tried it at 15% but even after a week it does not taste anything like ry4. Taste like it is mixed with water... Any idea?

I usually use 5%, but I've seen people use around 10%. Perhaps try using less? Or mixing in more unflavored base to drop your percentage of flavor down a bit?

I agree that 5% is best for me. 15% is overkill. Read Hoosier's blog. Particularly rule 8.

I tried 15% because i read somewhere that others use it at 15-20% on their flavors. Also i forgot where but on one thread someone said they used 15% for their ry4 double.

Are you using an atty or a carto, makes a difference. I just use cartos so I mix all juices at higher percentages so I still get full flavor.

i'm using mechanical mods... problem now is that i am not getting the flavors...

Ok i tried mixing at 5% and it still does not taste like ry4 double. Something is wrong but i just don't know what it is. hoosier got me to try some test like using without nic, using without flavors to test things out but i had no problem with them.... maybe now it's not enough flavor at 5%? how do i increase it? won't i lose nic if i added more flavor?

The nic level will go down, but not significantly. What I would do is put the 5% and the 15% in a dark place for 2 weeks then try it. Some tobacco-like flavors really need to steep.
