ok so i got my aquavapor 510 starter kit which came with 5 cartomizers. i then bought the tank/atty combo and just got clearomizers today.

my question is... the cartomizers seem to be good but are always either too full (getting spritz in mouth of juice) or too empty giving low flavor

the tank was nice and i liked how it vaped NICE AND COOL to the taste... ya know, it came off almost icy. but i think the atty is dying or something... i have 1 atty with 5 tanks and interchange flavor tanks. there seems to be lots of bleed over from the previous tank and now the first puff tastes good but after that it tastes burnt...

the new clearomizer is good but coming off the rubber drip tip or the rubber flat piece it hits the mouth HOT! flavor, TH, and vapor are all good but the heat sucks!

any suggestions or things i can try here?

but good news is that ive gone from a pack a day to about 1 a day in the past 2 weeks! so i am very happy just lots to learn about all this :p

Where you least expect it....
The reason why you are having this problem is that you overfilled your cartomizer. Or what can otherwise be known as flooding it. I'm assuming that you got standard sized cartomizers with your kit. Those require an initial fill of 25 drops and a 30 minute rest. Before it's put into use then it's best to LIGHTLY blow it out. Especially if your e-cig's battery connection isn't sealed.

The type of tank your speaking of, generally has a lighter vape to it. Although, it shouldn't be as cool as your describing. You might have gotten a dud. Before you put on another tank. You can blow out your atomizer so that the flavor doesn't carry over. With the other problem that your experiencing right now. Try a few primer puffs before taking a pull off of it. That will help with any wicking issues.

Great to hear about your success. Hope that you enjoy it here!

To fill a carto, there are several methods. Search on youtube for "condom method cartomizer" and "Taryn spin", and below is the method I use with consistent succes:

- I always wear a condom! If you don't put the bottom condom on, juice will pour out
- I make sure the needle is between the filler and the outer wall, not into the filler
- I inject in three different places on the circumference
- Once liquid comes out of the center hole or from the sides I let it soak, then draw back on the plunger; then I push again, let the whole thing get fully flooded, wait, then draw back on the plunger. I do this several times. I wait more for thicker juices.
- With the condom on, I suck on the mouth end. What that does is pulls all the juice from the center hole into the filler. It's counter-intuitive, but you do not get juice in your mouth
- At the end, you can also blow lightly through the battery end to remove all excess from the air tube (make sure you wipe the battery end with a paper towel and you place the paper towel at the mouth end to catch juice)

Good luck and happy vapes.

I haven't had much luck with cartos myself either. Then again I've never tried any of that stuff elf posted. I simply put about 10 drops in an tested, another 5 drops and kept going until I got something out of it. The first one I always got hot juice splatter. The second one performs completely different, so I have determined that the first one may not have been quite right.

I've grown fond of my dripomizer since, so I rarely mess with the cartos.

I like the condom method. I usually fill the condom up, push the carto down til juice is almost coming out of the top, then let it sit. The longer the better. You will be amazed at how much it will suck up. Also, some cartos, regardless of how much they are supposed to hold, take in juice differently. Some will saturate quickly, some take a while. Depends on the filler and how it is packed in.

Maybe a clearo with a bottom coil might work better for you. I have not tried them yet, but they should give you a not-so-hot hit when compared to the top-mounted style.

Good luck finding what works for you. It is quite the process.
