Hi everybody,

I'm new to this and had some simple questions that I was hoping someone with more experience could answer for me.

First of all, I bought the M-402 E-cig as an analog replacement. I'm mostly a social smoker (I smoke quite a bit at the bar on Friday night). I only smoke an average of ONE cigarette a day when I'm not at the bar. That said, while I could quit nicotine no problem I am not ready to give up the ACT of smoking just yet. Hence the E-cig. I got an M-402 from litecigusa.net. I chose this model due to it's resemblance to an analog cigarette with it's orange cherry (led) and tan cartridges. Much to my disappointment, the model that was sent to me has a blue LED and black cartridges. Live and learn. The cartridges can be replaced but litecigusa.net ONLY sells blue LED M-402s.

Anyway, I'm pretty disappointed with the thing so far. It produces very little vapor in my opinion (not nearly like a cigarette). I bought some zero nicotine juice from Tasty Vapor and have some blank cartridges so I am hoping the change in juice will give me more vapor.

SO MY FIRST QUESTION IS THIS: With this model and my (low) usage, how long should my atomizer last? What is the best way to clean it and how often should it be cleaned?

Any input would be welcomed. Thanks in advance.

I am not familar with the M402, so can provide little input other than this - get some cartomizers.

Cartomizers = atomizer and cartridge in 1 piece.

Considering that you want something as similar to an analog as possible, that is the only way to go. This is why almost all of your mass marketed e-cigs are 2 piece models - not 3. Simplicity of use and form. (well and to get you to only buy pre-filled carto's from them at high prices - forever).

Edit: From my somewhat limited experience, I prefer the RN4081 as far as a 2 piece model. I have the KR808 and do not like it, many do. SmokeStik is a 4081, V4L is a KR808.

By all accounts, most uses are pretty happy with the SS, primarily the taste of their pre-filled and quality of their carto's. The biggest issue is cost (well, and battery life, but all small e-cigs have that issue). As far as performance and vapor, that model does not come close to the EGO - but those are much bigger and would not satisfy your need to resemble an analog, in my view.

Considering that you are a Dr... and cost may not be an issue, I would strongly consider looking at SS for your needs.
