Hello
I started 'smoking' an e-cig 3 days ago and I can honestly say that I think it is the best thing going. I was on 3 packs a day and since I have been on this little gem I have smoked only 5 cigarettes and to me they are too strong now. My question is, can you refill any of the cartridges or only some? I have 401/402. Also did anyone suffer from headaches when they first started using the e-cig from the withdrawel of tobacco?
Great to be amongst like-minded peeps.
Hugs

Welcome, Im glad your liking your PV.
I know Im lovin mine:D

Yes you will be able to refill those carts, on the forum front page youll see lists of suppliers, and many of them have liquids for sale.

I have ordered a whole lot of small sample bottles from nuvape.com, and they taste great.
If you dont know what flavors to go for, I suggest doing the same thing.
Look for the 3ml sample bottles, they are pretty cheap.

And everybody's withdrawal symptoms will be different, but headaches is very common.

The only difference between the M401, M402, M403 is battery length. The cartridge and atomizer are identical for each. Within the M series cartridge is another cartridge that holds the batting and liquid, and it can be pushed up to become accessible by inserting a straightened-out paper clip or the like into the little hole in the end. This enables you to drip new liquid into the batting. You can push it back with the stopper plug that came with the cartridge. 5 to 8 drops of new liquid will usually recharge the dried up batting and leave a small pool of liquid at the top that helps re-prime the atomizer.

Thanks for the welcome and the tips for refilling. As for Effigi, no I didnt get any liquid as I bought my kit from a supplier on the infamous Craigslist and as he is local, he delivered it to me also. I asked him about the liquid but he said these are not refillable. I can see the batting so I thought it would be ok to just buy and try some. Maybe he was saying that as he doesnt do the liquid, who knows.

The M series PVs are certainly refillable. Get some liquid someplace and give it a try when your cartridges run dry.

I don't recall seeing *any* carts that cannot be refilled. (correct me if I'm wrong.) A supplier giving bad information to a customer is not a good way to get return business.

I have read form members that the 2 piece units with the "cartomizers" present challenges when it comes to refilling. Other than that, I think you are 100% correct.

welcome to vaping and to the forum. I too have a 401 and i LOVE it. The carts are DEFINITELY refillable. I use a paperclip to push the cart up and refill it. I would recommend 2 things for you since you are new to vaping. First, search for SPIKEY (member name) I recommend her starting out video to all the newbies here. Its about an hour long but SO worth it! he will answer a bunch of your questions in one sitting! She also happens to be the go to girl for any info on the 401's. It was on her recommendation that i bought one and it is now my primary device. Second I would check out the straw mod thread. Its a little tricky at first on these tiny carts but again SO worth the effort!;)

I wish you luck and feel free to post any questions you may have...after all...we were all newbies at one time too!
