Apparently the Ncig is an 801. Got one myself last week, and the atomizer died yesterday. The only place I found that actually had 801 atomizers in stock was vapornine.com. They call their model the Rio. Ordered a couple of spare atomizers from them yesterday, and they sent me a shipping notice with a tracking number almost immediately.

Hello Everyone,

If there is someone there who can help me with replacement parts (atomizers and carts) for my njoy Ncig I would appreciate it!

Thank you,
GoLdiE

Make sure you take advantage of njoy's 1 yr. parts replacement warranty. I've been through at least 3 NCIG (801) atomizers in 2 months.

I bought a few spares from myvaporstore.com while I wait for NJOY to send replacements :D

I purchased the burgundy NCIG.

The Rio Red sold at VaporNine.com is virtually the same device:

I've purchased two backup atomizers so far. The only difference is the Rio atomizer seems to have a smoother draw.

Hi, all. Thank you for the forum. I've been reading constantly for over a day now.
I just bought the NJoy NCIG pen style 6 days ago and it's been happy e-Vaping.
I was smoking over 2 packs a day. Now I'm down to about 7 a day. I've been vaping almost constantly though.
I've got one problem though. I was reading the recipes thread so I tried topping off a cartridge with one drop of glycerin, one of propylene glycol, and one of alcohol-free mouthwash. Now my atomizer is nearly dead. I think the mouthwash caused the problem.
So, I learned my lesson the hard way and I hope to buy one tomorrow morning. I think I'll get the NPRO which as far as I know is like the Super Mini (Super Mini What?) I think I will contact NJoy for a warranty replacement but I also thought, "Maybe I can come up with a way to repair the atomizer if I could only get it apart..." Well, maybe its not worth it anyway.

Any suggestions, comments, or just tell me to keep reading?:p

Just use NJOY for warranty replacement. The pen-style atomizers and batteries from Puresmoker and VaporGuys (and other suppliers) work fine. In fact, I dislike my NCIG atomizer and use a generic from both the abovementioned vendors. I keep the NJOY atoizer for emergency backup only.

I'm curious why you like one over another. Maybe I'll like a different one too. Please tell me more about the differences. I'll look for the generic atomizer now.

Good...and rather interesting question. Hope you don't mind if I add my 2 cents.

I purchased a "generic" atomizer from VaporNine since Njoy doesn't sell replacement atomizers and it looked similar to the burgundy NCIG I'd recently purchased. Upon receiving it I was amazed that it was virtually identical to the NCIG atomizer. The only way I can tell the difference between the two is the "generic" atomizer has an easier draw. I've since purchased another atomizer from Vapornine and reserve the original atomizer as backup.

What's curious is, I read on a forum somewhere that Njoy isn't really unique at all; it merely asigns it's brand name to the generic e-cig. Don't know how true this is, but it makes sense considering how many e-cig parts are interchangable. True or not, Njoy is unique in that it carries the 1 year guarantee on replacement parts...

...a great comfort to me upon learning...after-the-fact...that e-cigs consist of "semi-consumable" parts that may be subject to frequent failure.

The last NJOY NCIG atomizer I received was noisy (sound of the air rushing through the threads) and too easy to draw on. I find that easy draw atomizers tend to cool the vapor down too quickly often resulting in lighter vapor production and colder vapor. So I tried some other penstyle atomizers and decided I preferred the draw on them better.

This all came about since I did not want to pay the inflated NJOY price for spare atomizers. So I buy a few here and there as backups only to find I prefer most over the NCIG atomizer.

What have you noticed with the atomizer than makes you think it is dying? Harder draw, less vapor?

If you have a multi-meter or anything similar in your toolbox, thest the atomizer for continuity - one lead to the atomizer thread and one lead to the center. If you get current flow, the atomizer coil is still intact.

You can read through the many 'how to clean my atomizer' threads, some of which suggest some brutal procedures. I suggest you put the atomizer in a small cup and fill with warm water and white vinegar. Let it sit for an hour or so, rinse well, blow out moisutre from the battery connector end and turn it upside down to dry overnight. Try the next morning.

I would caution you against buyin the NPRO as it will be much less satisfying than the NCIG. Look at some of the websites of our forum supplies/sponsors. You might like the Vapor King (Vapor4Life.com), perhaps Janty products (Mini Fogger or Dura, for example), or pick up another penstyle starter kit (if you can find any instock). NJOY just charges too much.

If you have a multi-meter...

The atomizer is producing very little vapor but the coil is still intact and shows a resistance of 44.4Ω. I have blown it out with high pressure air and let it drain but I haven't yet tried the full cleaning procedure that you mentioned. NJoy was extremely polite and is sending me the new atomizer right away.

Too late about buying something other than the NPRO. There are three stores within 10-40 miles of me that carry them and of course they have a one year warranty AND I love vaping so much that I didn't want to go back to smoking until I got one that worked. I decided I just had to have at lease one more right away. So far I've been very happy with how it performs (not saying that I won't like a different model more though) but I just have two issues with it. One of the batteries, once or twice every three hours of use, gets stuck in the on position where, after taking a puff, the light will stay on for the full 5 seconds until it starts blinking, then shut off. The only way I found to make it work again is to strongly tap the lighted end against something that won't damage it, then it will begin working again. NJoy said they would replace that battery also.

I will try that cleaning procedure, but only as an experiment for future reference, and for the benefit of this forum, because NJoy, of course, wants me to send it back once I recieve the new one.

Thank you for the suggestions.

... but I just have two issues with it.

I almost forgot about my other issue.

The capacity of the NPRO is very limited. It only holds about 5 drops of pure glycerine at a time - maybe 6 at the most. I've been alternating between a 12mg cartridge and pure glyerine vapor. 12mg is the highest they have at the stores but its not enough for me so every once in a while, I have an analog. I have an order of "French Pipe Tobacco" flavored 36mg x 20mL from Vapro4Life.
store.vapor4life.com/product_p/lq20france%20pipe.htm
I heard that they have quick shipping from an earlier post so I think my 8 cartridges I have left, along with vaping glycerine, will last until I get my order.
