Hello, just got into vaping last week. I purchased an iTaste vv 3.0 kit with iclear 16 clearomizers. I have a very newb question; are atomizers the same as coils, the part you unscrew? Thanks - a

An atomizer generally refers to the entire top assembly that you screw onto your battery. In your case the iclear 16 is your atomizer. The coil portion of a clearomizer, or the part you unscrew and replace is known as the atomizer head.

The atomizer head includes the coil. The atomizer head can be unscrewed and replaced or rebuilt if you learn how. Welcome to ECF.

The atomizer head has the heating coil (atomizer) and the wick which brings the e-liquid to the heating coil. These clearomizers (tanks) can be top or bottom coiled.

Another type of juice attachment is also called an atomizer, or drip atomizer. These are wickless attachments which only have a heating coil within the steel tube. Only a few drops of e-liquid can be used at a time.
