something I've learned about searching for that perfect liquid is that They're all "it" until you try the next one. Then, a few days later none of them are "it" and you're back out shopping again! it starts to feel like you wasted your $. A week or two later one of the liquids you counted out tastes great.. it's the learning curve and experimentation you go through that creates a bond with this "vape" thing. Mixing, matching, steeping, nicotine level, pg/vg, wth does all this stuff mean?? Kinda makes you feel stupid.. but it starts to come together...:)

Welcome, some flavors are good at first then 2 days later can taste foul. I like to mix flavors from different flavors and create new flavors. Also when you vape to much your taste buds get used to certain flavors and you need to move on to the next. vaping is crazy, but when you find what you're looking for and get your mod and tank dialed in, you'll be in heaven!

Exactly, when I was active on YouTube I was being sent e-juices for review. At one point had 200 bottles or so laying around. Tried some good ones, tried some bad ones, tried some that made me gag trying it. I think that's half the reason why I vape unflavored now, I got burnt out on flavors because I had to vape them to review them honestly. I had flavors that were amazing at first, but after a week I'd go back and it'd be terrible once the bottle was opened.

when you switch to vape, your tastebuds go through a rollercoaster ride for the first few weeks and months

When I started I stocked up on the first liquid that I liked...like 20 bottles stocked up. Two months later it tasted awful. I was sure at the time that I needed a tobacco flavor. Thus began what we affectionately call at my house "the great tobacco hunt of 2012". The next few months were one liquid after another, one vendor after another...50+ flavors from a dozen different vendors.

For a while I settled on grape and cherry tobacco, but they weren't really good...just tolerable.

I finally discovered that I don't like flavors at all so I tried "unflavored". Yeah, I know it still has a flavor, but it turned out to be what I liked.

And all of those other bottles? I PIF to my son-in-law.

I started DIYing for similar reasons that I started using RDAs and RTAs. If you want something done right, do it yourself.

this

to me it's like burgers; sometimes you buy a burger, BUT something's not quite right:
well in my case for example, they put tomato in it! yuk; gotta take out the tomato;
sometimes they put like the wrong kind of onions in it; I could do without the onion in burgers, (but I gotta have my onions in a hotdog, and it gotta be the right kind of crispy onions!)
and of course you gotta have the right amount of ketsup mustard pepper in your burger

same with eliquids; there's always a bit of tweaking you want to do to it to get it just right

I agree with all of you..Lol
before I leave for work every morning I fill four my tanks with a different juice and pack a couple of other bottles in my case b/c I've learned that at any moment i'm going to not like what i'm vaping. It reminds me of having babies and running around packing diaper bags with every possible thing it may take to stop the fussing. My babies are all grown up now but that what it feels like.. every morning... still better than cigarettes!!
