Newbie starting with Bloog

Hello everyone!!!
I am new to the forum. I wish I would have started here.
I have successfully stopped smoking for last 2 months using store bought ecigs. I do not like the price or in most cases the flavor. I did try and like Blu but the the case stopped recharging after 2 weeks. I did not keep my receipt so that was money down the drain. I loved the flavor though. I then went on line. I found the very beautiful Aurora from Bloog. It is so cool! But after my frist day and a half the battery wore down. I tried charging but it would not charge. I called Bloog and the wonderful people there said I may have burnt my batteries as I did not use their wall charger with their USB unit. They promptly sent me 2 new batteries (wow thats customer service!). I bought the wall charger so that would not happen again. So here we are 2 days later and my battery wore down again. I used their wall charger and USB but nothing after sitting all night!! When I pull in the wall charger light is on, the USB light is on a steady green, but there is nothing from my ecig. It just sits there all dark. I took off, cleaned end and tried again. Nothing. Arrrrr. I dont want to go back to smoking but there has got to be a reliable way to vap with ecigs. I cant stand the question of "Oh is it going to work or have I just thrown more money away?" I did love the Johnsons Creek juice flavors though!!

Welcome.

I am not familiar with the models you have, but in the beginning, it can be very helpful to have the support of a local vape shop that can provide advice and support.

I assume they have vape shops in Denver and would encourage you to start there to find something that will work, and have people who can help when it doesn't.

Perhaps someone else will chime in with more practical advice for your specific setup.

I started out with bloog as well. I like most of their products (even though they're over-priced) but i had issues with a couple of their chargers. I don't think its your batteries burning out, its the charger. Both times it happened to me, it was from USB charging via my playstation. After that, the light would always be green on the charger, even when i knew my battery was completely drained. It wouldn't charge the batts, and the only thing i could do was buy a new charger.

You have more options than bloog or going back to analogs. There is A LOT of other great equipment out there, so maybe shop around a bit if you're not satisfied with bloog. You can find plenty of recommendations & info here on ECF. If you are going to stick with them, i would suggest trying their 650 battery. It has longer life than the maxx fusion batts, and i haven't had any issues with it (or with the charger).

Happy to see you here

I am going to assume that you want it to look like a cigarette (commonly referred to as cigalike)

a possible (quite common) issue is the carto got screwed down too tight on the battery and pushed the contact in far enough it is not making contact in the charger

You can fix this by taking a needle and gently and carefully (stress GENTLY and CAREFULLY) work the center pin up on your battery just a tiny little (stress TINY LITTLE) bit (The 1st time I did this I stormed in with a needle and decided more is better - WRONG - this is also a warranty breaker - just so you know)

See if this helps

Hi Tiffany and welcome to ECF :toast:

You most likely will not have a center post as stated above on a cig-a-like. I am not positive on BLoog, but none of the kits I tried/owned had one. Dont get discouraged though! You can get a replacement charger or a personal charging case (PCC) pretty inexpensively from Bloog Chargers

Ok for Bloog - I do not have any specific advice, I barely bothered with my 2 cig-a-like kits and neither were bloog. They were "almost right" but not quite enough oomph to get me off coffin nails.

A lot of folks here speak highly of:
Joye eRoll Electronic Cigarettes, Starter Kits & Accessories by Joyetech and I would say my second kit that I still use for a backup to my backups backup was the closest in quality and taste to blu Electronic Cigarettes | V2 Cigs

If you are not opposed to a slightly larger battery this is under 20$
