When ordering my new kit ( majestic aro with 900 mwh winder batteries ) I looked at extra coils and mistakenly hit 1.5 ohms as extra spares. I reordered later to 1.8's but today when the kit arrived and after spending 8 happy hours vaping my curiosity just HAD to see what would happen with a 1.5 ... I was nervous but they WERE after all included in the accessory parts under the Majestic page so I went ahead but was damned if I was going to harm a brand new winder . I turned it to its lowest setting of 3.2 on the dial, added nic juice and held my breath as I pushed the button .... Best coolish but soft and comforting throat hit I got all day, and thats with 36mg nicotine.
The winder never got the slightest bit warm, and I am vaping exactly as I smoked, one normal pull at a time ,no chaining or long slow oddly deep pulls ... but I'll never turn it up beyond 3.2, and unlike all of the videos that seem to enjoy showing really rad clouds, my settings for either of the two complete units is always geared at making just a 'clone' cloud that approximates my old analogs or maybe just a click denser .... but the question to the mentors ... is this ok ?
The battery time would be wonderful I think at 3.2 ! ... Would this possibly cause a lot of super fast coil gunking ?
