Hi everyone.. I'm a newbie. Just took the plunge today. I had been reading info here for a few weeks and decided to take the plunge. I went to the local vape shops and got a starter kit they put together for me. Got a 900 mAh smoktech winder, a charger, 2 kangertech T3S and 2 replacement coils, and 2 different flavors of e-juice. So far I'm really impressed. Wondering if there is anything I need to know or any pointers anyone wants to give.

Thanks

Welcome to the vape world, b1ggd0gg! It sounds like you have a pretty good start and if you have any questions you can always ask them here. :) Your local shop can always help, too! Don't be afraid to ask. No question is too silly. Make sure you have good flavors you love and a set up that is right for you and you'll be happier than you've ever been!

xo
best of luck!

I don't have a backup battery so I have to charge between vape sessions I guess. And on that note, what would be a good upgrade to my battery situation. I was told 900 mAh would last me all day as long as I wasn't vaping all day long. I'd like something that I can plug in and vape directly from the power source when I'm home in my recliner or in the car.

to ecf b1ggd0gg. So glad you are here and that you are starting your vaping journey. It is the only thing that ever worked for me and I just love it. It really depends on how much you are planning to vape. The 900 and 1100 ego style batteries did not last me all day because I was a heavy smoker. When I first started out I liked trying new juices and here is a link where you can find what is on sale. I have gotten some really good deals here. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/pay-forward-pif/418767-deals-steals-214.html

Good luck to you and continued success. Don't hesitate to ask about anything because there are always some wonderful people here that can help. I know because I was new once. :D

There are egos with passthrough charging. It's not variable voltage like your winder, but they get the job done. A innoken itastevv3 may also suit you better.
Best thing to do for your self is to pick up an innokin itaste mvp2. That will last you all day or 2 or 3, has passthrough charging, and you can have your winder for a backup.
Most people say the mvp2 is a nice upgrade from an ego - it has a better vape experiance because it is capable of outputting more power.

I second that....plus you can also charge other devices off it as well cause of the bottom connections and 2600 mAh battery. I vape on it pretty consistenly throughout the day and get a good 2 days plus on it. charging is fairly quick.

You can find the mvp2 for $40. It comes with a tank, but most people say not to bother with it. You don't have to buy any additional chargers or anything for it unless you don't have a mini (micro?) USB cable around...

My buddy has one and he just slaps it on the charger when he goes to bed and it's ready in the morning.
