Hello guys, I'm just a newbie. Fresh man, vaping for 2 weeks until now.
My set Rx 200 + Griffin tank.
Standard build: Parallel dual coils 0,5ohm KathalA1 26ga.
After 2 weeks, I used up to 2 x 30ml bottle of juice. Each cost me 22$ (my vape shop is a pain on my a55). After then starting to try mixing my own DIY e-juice or at least mix from shop's e-liquid so 1 bottle of them give me 3 back, and still can taste good.
Then, I starting to think about single coil build with ohm ~ 1-1,5ohm so my lovely Griffin tank wont drink juice like his boss drink beer anymore.
I searched around, saw some posts, and finally here my result:
Single coil building Kathal A1 24ga 13 wraps + cotton wick.
- Zero leaking (need to wick cotton carefully and just enough, no more no less).
- Air-flow smoothly (at first its kind of stuck, after that I came up with an idea to rise a small hole above the air hole, the cotton was wicked around as the wall and the air will be forced to the coil)
- Flavour still nice (not really impressed but all the ingredients still give you the feeling of them, nothing disappear). Not warm or hot vapour, but cool and warm, fresh and smooth feeling.
- Vapour still good (not a big cloud but still a lot of smoke, you can think as 3/4 compare to my last 0,5ohm parallel dual coil building).
- Very long battery, as now I just fire it around 30W (before always 50-70W). Using time up to 30-50% more. (My Rx200 have 3 x 18650 batteries but always only last 1 day, now it came up to 1,5-2 days)

Check it out mate, even it's not something new. But for a rockie like me, I still feel very happy when done it.

Thank you thank you!

Nice, i've been doing single coils in my Griffin, i find there isnt much difference between single a dual's as far as flavour go's in it.
I have a V1 Aromamizer and i find the flavour is better, ive been vaping them both at 25-30w but i do find the Mizer better with dual coil of 26g Kanthal,
Yup. As using Griffin, I love it too. But for now want to try something new. And I find out that single coil is truly what I want. Im not kind of sub-ohm vaper. Just realize it till now.
On the go looking for a suitable RDA.
Any suggest ppl.
