Hi all, i'm from Singapore. Currently using those cigarettes look a like type of ecig, where the cartridges are pre-filled. After coming to this site, I realize that many are using the those massive cool looking types. like lighsabers and dildos. :p Hahah...

Anyway, have been reading up from all various suppliers and wikis. And was thinking of getting a eGo-T/C/CE4, but would like to clear some confusion before committing.

1) What is the purpose of having variable voltage? Benefits?
2) Are all batteries interchangeable with different cartomizers/atomizers as long as it is male to female connectivity?
3) Is eGo good? I just want something non-messy and affordable to replace my analogs. No need cool LCD like povari.
4) What is the price of an eGo-C? I seen prices ranging from US$25 - US$99 for a pair.

1) Variable voltage allows you to adjust the heat level of your cartomizer or atomizer. Certain juice tastes and vaporizes better at a certain heat level.

2) No. Batteries and carto/attys are designated by number. 510 batteries are compatible with 510 attys/cartos. 808 batteries are compatible with 808 attys/cartos, etc.

3) Not really. The eGo-T and C have a lot of problems. The eGo T is especially troublesome with leaking, burning taste, etc. An eGo is good IF it is one of the 3.7V models, (most are 3.4V) AND if it is just the batteries without all the "C" and "T" extra junk. The CE4 is a particular type of clearomizer, or small tank. It is compatible with other batteries built like the eGo, for example, the kGo/Riva/e-Power. It is not a particular eGo model or restricted to use only with eGos.

4) Too much. Usually around $50-55. Then, you have to buy special replacement atomizers and tanks built specially for it unless you do what most people do and just forget all that "C" junk and just use a CE4 or regular 510 type cartomizer.

If you like the eGo style, look for one that doesn't come with all the extra stuff, that has at least 900mah capacity, and that delivers 3.7V. The newer eGo W is worth investigating. It has a much better tank system, is 1000mah and 3.7V.
Otherwise look for a Riva or Kgo. They are better performing e-cigs at a lower price (about $40-45). Here is a Kgo.

Thanks Sailorman! That's comprehensive.

So, can I say that conclusion is to get 2 batt with at least 900mah that delivers 3.7v (ideally with variable voltage, and 1 for spare), and say 5 CE4 clearomizer?

I see the various advantages and disadvantages of auto and manual batt. How real is is that putting in your pockets have a high chance of setting your pants on fire with the manual batt? lol!
