Well, I did my initiation stint in the newbie forum, and now I am here to bother the pros. I just have a couple more questions, and then I will move on...
I started with the Boge cartos on a Kgo 1100mah, but quickly learned that I (or my throat rather) cannot tolerate the filling which honestly I had the same kind of thing, although not quite so strong, on my ecig. I guess that's the 3.7v.
Now, I have now switched to the Stardusts--the 2.1-2.4 ohm (LR) or thereabouts--which I like but I am finding is not consistent. First, the flavor is terribly muted but okay--mostly the flavor is experienced on the exhale. But as I go further into the day, it just goes to what I can only describe as vaping pepper. Horrible! No flavor--it is just like I took a bowl of pepper and inhaled it through my mouth. The juice I am using is Mt. Baker Bananas Gone Wild at 70pg/30 mix. Sometimes I will get a vague flavor of the liquid on my tongue on the inhale, but then I can quickly taste the change to the pepper experience starting up and then straight pepper on the exhale. Is this considered burning?
Is there something wrong with the Stardust? Is it the ohms that I am using? I am always keeping the wicks wet so no problem there. Is it the PG in the juice? Is it the nicotine level of 12mg that I am experiencing? I am definitely cutting down on the nicotine to 6 as well as the PG to almost VG or straight VG, as throat hit is not an important element to me. Is it all of the above? I am going to change the liquid mix and also the Stardust to a SR, but I thought some feedback would help before I order.
It really is hard to explain the exact experience. What I need is a vaper angel sitting next to me so I can hand it to them and say "see what I mean!" But until they appear, your thoughts would be so appreciated. As hard as the experience has been it sure keeps me off the cigs--oops--analogs. Probably trying to figure out this conumdrum keeps me too busy to miss the analogs...Valerie
