Ordered my starter kit this morning from esmokeytreats and I can't wait to get vapin. Tried to read and remember all the great info that you folks have provided to us and now I have more questions. I'm gonna start with the dse901, sounds like the sure thing for a beginner. I watched Spikey's info video and started to wonder.....Manual and auto switches, sounds like manual would be the best for me, what does the dse901 have? I know that the motion sensitive one would not be good cause my HD is old and rumbles. Also, 2 and 4 hole, how do ya know what your getting? Where are the holes? no, pun intended. I'm sure this will be a learn as I go thing and thats fine but your knowledge is great for a beginner. :?:

Your device has an automatic switch in the battery. When you take draw, the battery turns on and heats the atomizer. Right now, do not concern yourself with holes and motion sensitive stuff, just start using your device, learn what you like about it and what you would like to improve. Then, all the information on this site will begin to make sense.

Thanks folks, I am patiently waiting for the mailman. I the meantime I'll keep readin' and trying to retain all the info provided. Gets to be overwhelming but I'm determined!

Good choice going with Phil from e-smokey-treats. While you are waiting and continuing to do research, two of the more popular manual switch PV's are the Janty Dura-C and the Screwdriver (SD). I have the SD and just love it. It has a 7-8 hour battery life between charges. The Zi Moshi is also gathering a loyal following. Here are some links:

Thanks for the links! The Screwdriver sounds like the real deal for me. I'm a hard core smoker and don't want to be fussin' with the attys all the time. Probably gettin way ahead of myself. Thinkin tomorrow the 901 will be here, then look out! will be one big cloud of vapor around here LOL. Then I'm sure I'll have lots more questions. Thanks again. dawnlori
