I'm looking into getting a 510 with a manual battery, and I already have an npro, so I was wondering if the 510 battery is compatible with the NPRO charger. I'd rather not buy the whole starter kit, and just get the atty and batt.

And just to make sure, does the 901 manual battery work with the 901 automatic charger? I think there might be a difference.

Thanks;)

Also let me know if you're aware of any other cigs that work with an NPRO or dse901 charger..

Thanks again...:D

No, they are not compatible with either the npro or 901 chargers. However, if you are going to give the 510 a try, you really need at least a basic kit which, as I'm sure you know, will come with two attys, two batteries, 5 carts...and the charger. As a 510 owner I can promise you it's worth the switch from an npro.

The 510 & 4081 are the same diameter, but the threads have different pitches. You could force them to fit in the other, but you would wreck the threads. There are clamping type chargers that will take both.

I bought spare chargers for all of my e-cigs. IF the charger goes out, you're dead in the water.

Hey Jim, Tracys husband... Was thinking of buying a couple of the manual batteries to try out, is it that difficult to take apart and make it work in a automatic charger, meaning would it shorten the batteries life? Don' want to buy another charger just to try out a manual battery.

Howdy Mark;

I honestly don't know. I don't have any manual batteries for the 901. I haven't needed any batteries since the manuals came out. I'm sure more answers will come out in this thread. In fact, I gave the 901 to your Uncle Matt. He loves it.

Second thing is, how are you fixed on chargers? I have at least two chargers for each e-cig. Chargers go bad too.

Just a thought, but the usb charger I have works on my Npro, 901 and 510, the pcc case charges the Npro and 510 also. I love that. (don't have the manual 901 to try yet)
How does that work? The 901 and 510 have different connectors.

There are no threads on the inside of the usb charger, they just slide in, It does not have a cord you just plug it straight into your pc, I got mine from IV, but they sell them at eastmall and other places. I don't know a lot about this stuff, but I carry the same little charger in my purse and it works for all three.

Hey Uncle Jim,

Don't laugh but I have five chargers in all, three in the house and one for each vehicle. Don't want to be without a fresh battery...:D

I just bought the screwdriver and like the manual switch very much, but when out in public I use the stock batteries, also Tracy was asking about her trying a manual so she would be able to drip. Maybe I'll just buy one charger to go with the manual batteries.

DSE103 batteries should work with an NPro charger.
I can't say for sure because I don't have a DSE103 battery.

But I do have DSE103 atomizers that work with the NPro battery.
And that means the batteries almost have to fit on the same charger.

I have a 510 manual, and it's nice. The batteries just don't last. I just got my order with more 510 batts. Matt just got more 901 parts, but they were ordered just before the manuals were out. Maybe next order. I gave him my Janty Kiss Box to. He likes the passthrough with the manual batt on that one.

Probably would be a good idea to get the charger. As long as you're ordering the manual batts, have a charger thrown in too. I wouldn't want to pop the button off for each charge. Before you know it, something breaks, and you have a perfectly good battery with a broken button. Then you have to buy another battery as well as the charger.

On my last order, they were out of stock on the NPRO batteries. I'm using the 103's with no problems.
