Wanting to quit a 30 year smoking habit and after trying many methods out there, I decided why not give e-cigs a whirl. But I wanted to be well informed before I made the plunge so I could give myself the best chance of success. Well, doing a search for e-cigarettes will pull up probably ten times as many ecig retailers as there are analog cigarette brands on the market so getting lost in the hype can be pretty easy.
What a relief to find this forum! Granted, it still took me a while to find all the details I needed/wanted to make my decision on a starter kit, but it was well worth the time spent. I got my starter kit (decided on a Halo G6 standard) a couple of weeks ago and am closer to quitting analogs than I have ever been in the last 30 years!
So I know all the disclaimers state that ecigs are not intended to be a smoking sessation remedy, but for me, the proof is in personal results. I am down from a little over a pack a day to a pack lasting me a little over three days and am very confident I have finally found my way to quit for good.
I'm still learning from this forum as well and predict I will be for a long time, so thanks ECF!
