Hi all. I'm a newbie and I am pleasantly surprised and a little overwhelmed at all the information available on this site. So thanks to everyone!

Anyway--I just ordered a Solar Flare which I think is an HSE 501:confused: I really had no idea what I was doing in ordering as I only did a modicum of research before purchasing and didn't stumble upon this site until afterward.
I know everyone has different experiences, likes and dislikes with different models, etc...

Something I did not realize or consider is the fact that, as an analog smoker, I really am just a puffer. I almost never inhale deeply and most of the time I just barely draw the smoke a little into my throat. I am definitely addicted to the ritual and motions (psychological factors) of smoking way more than I am nicotine, as I successfully quit for 2 months without any significant withdrawal symptoms. I smoke around a pack a day.

So my question is, I have read that with vaping it really isn't feasible to puff, as you must take a significant draw for it to do much of anything. I think the throat hit that comes with that is going to drive me nuts. In smoking analogs, I usually only draw for maybe a second or two.

Are there any suggestions for those that enjoy the puffing aspect more than anything, or any recommendations on models if the Solar Flare doesn't do it for me? TIA
