I got my EVO starter kit from Intellicig-USA a little over a week ago and I've been very happy with it so far. So I went ahead and ordered some new carts and some ECOPure juice .. and now I find I have some questions:

I ordered the "Regular High" for both the carts & the juice because I found the Regular-Medium that came with my starter kit just a bit too weak for me. Both products came labeled as Regular-High, but the carts indicate 18mg of nicotine and the juice 24mg.

1. If the products are from the same company shouldn't the nicotine for the "high" be the same for both? How does one go about figuring the right nicotine level?

(I must be going crazy because I find the 18mg carts to be stronger than the 24mg juice, but more confusing is the fact that neither one seems stronger than what came with my starter kit labeled "Regular Medium".)

2. Can e-juice be dripped directly on the EVO atty? I saw a video of this being done, but I've also read that dripping is not recommended for the 401's because of the opening on the battery. Do or don't?

3. Is ECOpure the only e-juice that can be used with the EVO? So far I'm really not crazy about the ECOpure, plus I'd love to try some of the flavors I've read about. Does ECOpure have flavors? Can you recommend another juice brand for the EVO?

Any tips/suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Some background:

I have been smoking for 22 yrs and slowly but surely have worked my way to chain smoking 2 packs/day. Through the years I have unsuccessfully tried to quit cold turkey, using NRTs, hypnosis and laser therapy. I did not buy my PV with the intention of quitting .. the boss recently ok'd e-cigs and I just wanted to be able to "smoke" at work. To my huge surprise, I have not had an analog since day one. Yes, it's only been a week; but for me, this is major!!

Your mom said not to say...
Yes, you can dip directly on the atty in fact it's recommended. I would not drip though try dipping, get a contact lens case or something small and put about 10 drops in there and you can just dip the atty in the juice with no mess and no worry about running in the battery if you have a auto battery.

As for the juice you can use any juice that is out there with it, you don't have to stick with Ecopure. Congrats on the quitting, I too have not had a tobacco cigarette since I got my Dragon on September 11th of this year.

The nicotine content could have been mislabeled at the factory, anything is possible. I would recommend that you have spare atomizers, and batteries for when the original fail, treat them as consumables and you will be fine. One thing I would do is if you work at a desk, get a passthrough! You will love the way those hit, they hit better and more consistent than the portable battery stick. I would also get a couple different types maybe a 510 to go along with that EVO or m401 that you have.

Juice brands are a dime a dozen, it's trial and error and individual taste counts for a lot here. It's hard to recommend a juice because like tobacco brands it's all relative. Totally Wicked is popular, I have used Rocky Mountain Vapors, LiteCig, Truesmoker, and some others that escape me right now. I have not had a problem with any of them just try some and you will find a favorite, don't be afraid to try some flavors you would not think of smoking in tobacco.

Thanks for replying, Snarky; very helpful info.

I went ahead and got myself a contact lens case and started dipping yesterday. Big improvement. I find the dipping a much easier/faster method and the portability offered by the lens case is fantastic. I appreciate the heads up on that one! Can't wait to try the passthrough, especially if it's going to improve the hit!

Thanks again
