Howdy folks!

So I've been off analogs for about 8 months, but found myself going through nic fits when life gets stressful. So I recently made the decision to buy an e-cig. I've been vaping for about a week and a half, and I've already got some great e-juices (and one not so great, but meh... I figure it's all part of the adventure). It was a natural progression... really. I love hookah and the cool flavors that came with smoking it.

I have a 650MAH Ego battery that came in a kit with a clearomizer and a charger (e-generation branded)... Soon after I purchased an 1000MAH Ego-C Twist... Been using generic clearomizers mostly, but also purchased a Protank (which I LOVE so far!).

So... On to my questions, just a bunch of Q's that I'm having trouble finding answers to (for some reason keyword searches here just throw everything at me, and it's tough filtering manually!)

1. What other rebuildable clearomizers would you recommend, besides the protank? I'm looking at EVODs as part of my next purchase- I like that the atomizer heads work withthe protank! (most likely from myvapprstore.com, will probably order another Ego-C Twist as well!)

2. When a clearomizer could goes bad... Is it okay to pour the juice back into the bottle or do I toss it all out? I've only been using 1 type of juice for each clearomizer, what do I do when I want to fill with a new flavor?

3. Is it safe to be using the charger that came with my kit on the Ego-C even though its a different brand? It's just a little USB dongle with no cord...

4. What do you guys use to keep your stuff upright? Any stands you recommend? My Ego-C Twist with the Protank is so top heavy! I've knocked it over so many times now... I'm scared the glass might break.

5. Any other goodies you could recommend? Or changes to my current set up?

Thanks so much guys, I know I've written an essay, but this community looks to be so friendly and supportive, I'm so amazed! Any

Well...

Evods are cheap, use the same coil/type as the pro-tank and IMO taste better too. They will not, however hold up to the more caustic citrus nd cinnamon juices that glass, Pyrex and polypropylene tanks do. I'm on valleyvapes.com polypro car to tanks now alongside my EVODs.

The clearomizer doesn't fail, just the coil. Replace the coil without pouring out your juice. I do that all the time with my EVOD. Your pro tank is built the same way. This is an advantage of the bottom-coil style clearos. If you need to dump your juice, don't put it back in the bottle, but another clean vessel till you can pour it back in your clearo. Don't contaminate the source!

Brand means nothing as far as those chargers go. As long as it's a 420mah charger, you're good.

I just use a heavy-bottom rocks glass...

As for changes... there are soooooo many options!

I wouldn't load it if you weren't in the room with it, as there are some stories (and videos) of exploding/burning ego batteries.

If I were you I'd go up to a vw mod with a decent loader and batteries that you can leave when it's loading but that's personal. There are lots of people that never had problems with the ego's and leave them when they charge, so that's up to you as long as you know that incidents have occured. Regarding the clearomizer, I like the evod too.

I don't keep my stuff upright and it hasn't leaked or caused problems. The juice you can re-use when you change the coil like jac 1766 said.

I like the fasttech DCT tank too, it's the same as the smoktech DCT but you can't rebuild it.

1. Iclear30.
2. Yes it's ok to reuse the unused liquid, but that's up to your taste.
3. I'd get the specs for the ego-c charger and compare them to the one your using if the same then ok.
4. Buy a toothbrush holder from Walmart or a similar looking holder, or simply make one using imagination.
5. Vamo V2 or V3 these are pretty durable and good mods that don't cost an arm and leg to buy.

Enjoy the ride.

Thanks for all the great feedback!

A Mod is definitely on my radar as well! I'm seriously thinking about going with this setup from Fasttech:

$58.85 Vamo V3 Stainless Steel Variable Voltage E-Cigarette Battery Compartment Set - with Nitecore I2 US battery charger / 2*Panasonic CGR18650CH 18650 batteries at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

It would be about the same as buying two more EGo-Twists! Are the batteries/charger in this kit any good? I've seen some battery horror stories... Should I just buy the mod and find batteries and a charger elsewhere? Or is Fasttech pretty reputable?
