I initially just wanted to play the Four Square Challenge to get some free juice, only to discover your posting restrictions.

So let me introduce myself.

Name's Nick- I hail from the central-est part of California. I'm 26 currently and am training to be a yoga instructor.

I started vaping about two years ago with a Blu cig. Someone I know recommended them. We aren't friends anymore. (In short, Blu cigs suck.) After that I graduated to the 510 and then the Ego. Currently, I use an Ego-T 1000mah battery with a 510-T atty. I used to use the Ego tank atty, but it got to be too expensive, and less reliable than I expected.

I'm a bit of a vapor ....., though, so I've tried a lot of stuff in between, and there's still plenty I'm planning on trying. My next piece of hardware (hopefully) is going to be the Dual Coil Tank cartomizer. If anyone reading this has tried the DCT, please share your impressions or link me to a review, it would be much appreciated.

Welcome to ECF, Nick, and the wide, wondeful, wierd and sometimes wacky world of vaping! Congratulations on keeping away from the stinkysticks - it sounds like you are doing well with the gear you have.

I am using a dual-coil tank (the Smoktek one from Madvapes.com). They work very well, for me, at 4.3v but YMMV. I will say that dual coil cartos will drain a battery VERY quickly but you should be OK on a 1000mAh set up.

The smoktech tanks are pretty solid tanks and their cheap so it's not a bad deal. They do come with a 1.5-1.6ohm dual coil carto though and that low of a resistance puts a lot of stress on the eGo mosfet and can fry your PV. Personally I wouldnt use anything lower than 2.0ohm on an eGo, but that's up to you. Some eGo users use carto below 2.0ohm and have never had a problem, but alot of people have also fried an eGo using them. 1.5ohm is the biggest culprit to a fried eGo and they put the most stress on the mosfet. So that's up to you if you want to take that risk.
I use a smoktech tank on an Epower and it works great. I don't use the dual coil that comes with it though bc I find dual coils at the lower voltages arnt that great and they drain the battery alot faster. They are alittle better on a 3.7v PV compared to an eGo but their still just okay. I find dual coils only really shine in the 4-5V range.
I use the 1.7ohm Ressurector cartos in the tank. They are awesome cartos and work great in the tank.
Crystal Clear Vaping sells them and they also sell the tanks too. They sell prepunched Ressurectors That have the metal base for the smoktech tank so you could buy them to use with the tank on your eGo too. They still put a good bit of stress on the eGo and could potentially fry it, but they are less likely than the DC that comes with the tank
