Some thoughts to maybe help other newbies (like me)...
#1, I love, love, love the ego-T. Has a great hit, doesn't diminish taste for me & the battery life kicks all the others outta the room.

#2, CigNot (where I got it from) is probably the bestest of best when it comes to ordering online. Go Vicki!

#3, the egoT atty does not like dark thick VG juice. The atty's will clog. Trust me on this one. I've now taken 2 apart because I've fallen in love with Boba's Bounty. The bounty is exquisite!, but this juice is for my 510 now. I wouldn't recommend taking the ego-t atty apart. The wick is very delicate.

I could go on & on. I love the ego-t. I'm also happy w/my 510. For hit, I'd give points to eT. Handling flavors/thicker juices, 510 rules. Battery life goes to ego-T. Not leaking juices goes to ego-T. Huge tank goes to ego-T. Ok, ego-T wins. 510 is for flavor on occasion.

Choices are good. These are mine & solely my opinions. Best to you all!

++ on cignot's atty's waiting for her to get the LR's in a few days.

Also -- on the Boba's It *does* work, but you will be blowing the thing out and frustrated a lot.

And I am a big fan of the Gorilla Juice (with a fresh bottle on the way, after a little mixup @ ave) I might have to resort to the dilution method :(

PS - not to be one of those guys shoving other equipment down your throat, but the LR tank attys are pretty darn great (if you check the threads, they are not as low ohm as other LR's and the tanks long air passage provides a cooldown but you still get that LR flavor blast (at least to me, we all know flavor is subjective yadda yadda.)

I am with you Jaz

Things I have learned ( your experiences may be different )

Get the primer out of the atty, bad stuff... if you think you got it all out... blow again.

Take long slow light draws, you suck on it too hard and you get e-juice into the space in the mouthpiece.

You can re-use the tanks over and over and over, take them apart, clean them in a cup of hot water and use them over and over again.

If you get dry burnt taste take the end of a paper clip and push the wick inside the puncture device down 1/16th of an inch ( no more ) and it fixes the problem fast

Popping the end caps off the tanks is easy and no fuss way to re-fill them, there are folks that say you should not do that... but in my experience, it has been no problem at all.

Take the end of a paper clip and pull out the breathing plug in the mouth end of the tank, there is a second spacer deeper in there with the same size hole in it, pull that out and toss it, and push the outter mouth end cap back into the unit... easier to draw with that inner spacer removed.

Get a 1000mah battery, it will end up being your main battery, and you use the smaller ones as backups while your main is charging.

80-20 is a good PV-VG mix ( at lest it works well for me )

I took one atty apart and messed up the wick and had to toss the atty in the parts drawer ... you are right... not worth it.

The mouthpiece does NOT have to be lined up with the spaces on the side of the atty cover with the puncture device ( I thought it did origonally... it does not )

When you switch tanks... take a rolled up piece of paper towel and clean out the inside of the atty cover.

Be careful having your wife try it… cause she took my spare unit… Hey! Leggo my eGo!

I highly recommend the eGo-T.... however, it is the only e-Cig I have ever had so I actually don’t have anything to compare it to.

( I should add, I used to have a problem with the unit leaking a bit, but I think I was drawing too hard and flooding the unit, since I have started taking lighter longer draws, I have not had a single leaking or flooding problem, it was behavioral )

Got my eGo-t from Cignot yesterday. Vaped it most of the evening and was in seventh heaven about the taste of my juice and the layers of vapor rolling throughout my house. Laid it down at 12:30ish and took a shower. When I came back I found the thing took a dump on my coffee table, 3/4 tank of juice lost. Could not find any problem, the puncture in the tank cap was complete and round and the tank was fully pressed into the atty.
Rinsed and blew out the flooded atty and loaded another tank with a syringe, just like before, only this time instead of filling the tank 3/4 the way, I only filled the tank half way. A half hour later I got a mouthful of FSUSA and the battery was dripping wet. This morning I started another tank, the center of the fill cap punched out into the tank leaving the rim of the cap still in place on the end of the tank. Loaded yet another new tank and grabbed a couple Smart carts for back up use with my faithful Joye 510, I jumped into my car and headed off to work. Stopped off to get gas and when I left the filling station I was horrified to discover the eGo-t had dumped my precious juice into my car's console tray. I guess the Ego-t is just swell if you don' stop vaping it until it becomes bone dry.

I know the wick is where it is supposed to be in the atty nozzle but enough is enough...until the design is fixed I will be vaping strictly on my 510.

That really stinks. Once I punctured mine, I got a paper clip and bent the little chad thingy all the way back. When you turn your tank upside down, does it leak?

I didn't have a tank issue but I did have an atty issue. Get in contact with Vicky, she's great!

Day 11 on the tank system and zero leaks for me...multiple tanks used each day (and swapped in and out)....thrown around, left on it's side, carried in my pockets (half the time upside down). I used thick juice (pure vg), thin juice, and everything in between etc.

Took the atty apart, soaked it overnight, blew it out this morning and vaping on it now.

I'm really curious why some seem to have the problems and some don't...whether it's a tank issue or an atty issue.

Nope, it doesnt drip out of the tank and I'm using a higher percentage of VG (50/50). IMHO there should not be a chad attached to the fill cap. One thing, I am using 510 batteries with the eGo-T until a 650 arrives in the mail. Maybe that has something to do with the issue. If one is pulling hard enough to flood the atty, I suppose capillary action of the wick may drain the tank through the atty.

I'm using a 650 and my juice is 70pg/30vg. I don't know if this matters at all or not. I can't imagine it would. That really stinks though!

I think the tank goes through much more juice anyway. Sorry to hear you lost so much juice.

I was in heaven until the 3 week point. My issue was the atty died.

2nding Astronomer on the need to clean the attys before you use them. Mine came full of a really, really nasty primer. Someone (sorry, I can't remember who, but they are awesome) in another thread used this method, which worked for me):

1. Blow out atty from battery end
2. Run under hot water
3. Blow out atty again from battery end

I had to do this three times to get rid of all the gunk. Also 2nding removing the inner baffle on the mouth piece for more vapor & flavor (comes out easy w. a paperclip).

QUESTION: eGo 510 attys are compatible with the eGo-T battery, yes? If so, that makes this a versatile unit if you want to drip the darker stuff Jaz mentions.

Wishing this had been my first pv...live and learn!

Ok, I fixed my eGo-T flooding/leaking issue. The wick was way too low into the atty, I had to pry the plate out to raise the wick, it only needed raised a little bit to slightly impede the juice flow onto the heater coil. Now theres not even a drop of liquid forming on the battery center terminal. Once you get the wick adjusted to your liking, stay with the PG/VG ratio you prefer.

So me and a friend went splits on an ego-t package and at 60 bucks each it was expensive, rush delivery took just under a week, and when we got the stuff it seemed to work pretty good.

However within 24 hours the atty was broken. Apparently the screw part that goes on to the battery was really weak and the top came off while leaving the screw into the battery. Trying to carefully remove it, the wire broke, so i couldnt use it anymore.

Then a friend of mine send me a few attys to use for it, and they worked fine, but then the thing only worked for about 3 straight days until there was a bit of a rattle in the battery. now the thing wont even work. i press the button, the light goes but it doesn't vape anything. And before you ask yes i tried another atty. the problem seems to be that rattle is something lose inside the battery case, and i have to turn it, push the button and inhale, so many times efore it works once, and then you might get 1-2 puffs.

Terrible workmanship on this. tried to contact the seller but they had a 14 day return policy and the time between me getting the attys was over 2 weeks. So, this is my first and likely last personal vapor, i will not buy another one.
