Newbie's irrational exuberance

Smoking 3 cigars a day was getting old but I couldn't stop. That first hit of an e-cig at the mall convinced me. E-cigs can work! Went online that night, found this forum, and purchased a DSE 801 from one of the suppliers. Went a little crazy ordering the various types I read about, sort of like downloading a bunch of apps on a new mobile device. I've ordered starter kits, USB passthroughs, cartomizers and e-juices. My e-cig collection now includes eGo, Go-Go, 510 and 901. While they all have great attributes my preferred PV is the eGo, which came in a great kit from Heaven Gifts including a drip tip, a pouch, two batteries and two atomizers.

There is definitely a learning curve but patience is rewarded. Discovering tasty e-juices, such as Lemon Poundcake from Velvet Vapor, and Tribeca from Halo.

Thanks for all the info shared here. I feel great and haven't burned a cigar in six weeks!

No longer do I have to leave my own house and go outside like a bad puppy, to sit for an hour feeding mosquitoes in the Texas summer heat, just because I want to smoke. Now, I vape all I want in my air conditioned study, with my kids around me safe from smoke and asking, "Daddy, why are you always reading that e-cigarette forum website?".

Good job and welcome to ECF. You picked out a good assortment of e cigs. Now if everybody did the research that you did there wouldn't be so many newbies asking what to buy or the one I bought at the mall sucks! Good luck and keep come back here. There's a ton of stuff to learn.
