Hi all,

i have recently joined this forum , knowing it to be the biggest forum cater for vapers. I have initially wanted and going to buy e-cigs online only to find out that my country(Singapore)'s health authority have got it officially banned few months back in Dec 09.

As i see no threads here in newbies forum catering to those from e-cig banned countries. I shall start one here and hope the mods will make it sticky one day.

So is there any feasible way to get in a e-cig?

Heard that by having packaging being made discreet and to never indicate the words e-cigarette or related words on the package does it really work?

If so, can i ask the supplier to specifically do that?

Considering what is being proposed is illegal, I don't expect that you will get many responses to your question / or much support for a social group. I believe that posts supporting illegal activities are forbidden by forum rules. I can't tell you what to do, but if I were in your situation, I would most likely contact a seller or manufacturer directly to discuss it (or move to Hong Kong). However, I am not. Good Luck

Even though e-cigs are not BANNED anywhere in North America YET, when crossing the border from the USA to Canada, we run the risk that Customs can stop a shipment of juice into the country.

That being said, I find that most US vendors WILL give their goods 'different' descriptions on the documentation. However, they'll never blatantly LIE about something. (No one is going to declare they're sending you a LIGHT BULB or something. If they get caught doing THAT, they may be in BIG trouble!)

I'd do as you suggested and contact some of the Registered Suppliers on the forum and ask them what their policies are. They WANT to help you, I'm sure, but if it's a toss up between making a new customer and losing their business, you can't blame them.

Good luck and I wish I could be more help!

well for my country has a second highest rate of migration(outgoing) after east timor, go figure that out. :(

in the US i know this e-cig vs FDA war would be easily resolved eventually than it is in my country.

it's not just pop-ping out e-cigs to smoke....it's a good way to quit smoking eventually via reducing the nicotine content of e-cig as it go along, that said is about either regaining a smoke-free lifestyle or continue comsuming nicotine without those 4000 plus chemicals. But for that lucrative tabacco tax and limited polictical freedom(yes can be compared to nazi germany), they just simply outrightly banned it from import sales to even consuming..

What he said.

There are indeed a lot of us around here. But think about it a bit and you would probably realize that any practical discussion about this issue would be, to say the least, very counterproductive for all involved.

Having said that, welcome to the forums! :D
