From my limited knowledge of how to get into YouTube reviews, most companies want you to have a pre-existing subscriber base. The more the subs, the more likely they will work out a deal. It is the way they judge the investment risk basically. There are a lot of reviewers out there anymore, so it is harder to get into now than it was 5 years ago. Most that are just starting out seem to have to buy their own products for a while.

Hi welcome to ECF and I hope you enjoy your stay here. Reviewing can be tough even as a newcomer. I actually don't like reviewing and usually turn it down, it turns it into more of a pressure situation for me and there are tons more through and skilled reviewers than me, but I'd agree that probably the best place to start is to begin reviewing what you have, and if you are a good reviewer well I'm sure stuff will start happening. Most really successful reviewers do seem to put a fair amount of work into it.

Welcome though mostly.
