Heya guys and girls a while ago I started using those cheapo cigarette looking cartridge things and didnt find them useful, so I carried on smoking fags then I was offered two ego-ce4 1100 s cheap so I tried them and got on well, for countless reasons I started back on the fags then since my new job ive started back on my ego-ce4 again and am enjoying it.
I found this site when I was looking into mixing liquids myself (lad at work does it) I just thought id pop by and say hello.
So hello:)
Oh and I have a couple of questions aswell;
Does anyone know if shops will mix a liquid for you? I saw the cost of the mixing kits and would really like to know if mixing is for me before I spend that sort of cash
I find that any liquid I use kind of scratches my throat whats best to stop this?
Can you mix flavors aswell?

Walsall west midlands? Never heard of that part of Texas.

Lots of shops in the USA mix liquids for you.

You can mix your own. I buy 24mg strength PG-only liquid and add my own glycerin.
Depending on where you live you might be able to get your own PG.

Hi there, if you start mixing your own liquid you will find that it is well worth the start up money you will have to fork out for the kit. It is much cheaper in the long run.
I recommend you do some reading as well just so you know what you are doing and are aware of the dangers of handling nicotine. I'm sure there is a load of information here on ecf. I recommend you use an online ejuice calculator too, to help you with the measurements.
And yes you can mix flavours.
And if you have a scratch throat, it might be the pg vg ratios in the liquid you are using. Maybe go for higher vg because it will be smoother.
I just rinse my tanks under the tap. But then I'm lazy.
Hope this helps

The land of sky blue waters
And I never have a problem with normal ciggies

Remember the first time to you smoked a ciggie, and coughed out a lung? Eventually, you got used to it. But it's interesting, I still get pinch in my throat after a year and a half of vaping 100% VG and no flavors… all it could be is the nicotine.

Please throw away that dead battery.

It contains a lithium battery on the inside, and then there is a small circuitboard and wires. Since the thing is damaged, I wouldn't trust it.

I don't use those ego sized batteries anymore. I use the 18650 batteries that fit in a tube. (actually I vape off the wall with no battery now); so if any battery has a problem I can get rid of it without throwing away the whole device.

Ahh, I see you are across the pond, mate. :) Can't help you there I guess. :(

Depends on the vendor. Some list their vg/pg ratio, and some give you a choice. You'll need to look around.

Ah well cheers for trying lol :)

Find an online dealer of liquid (or 2 or 6) and do that first in small amounts. More vg will usllulay help the hitting as will less nic. The cigalikes are kinda old school, *they suck*. But, I rock a Ego-t and c4 atties everyday at work and they are solid. Unless you are a natural, trust me, DIY sounds easy...but...ymmv

That was another question I had is it worth resoldering it back onto the board pr just bin it and keep the atomizer and that guess its for the bin lol
And wow vaping from the wall ??? How ??? Lol

I don't think it's worth trying to solder back on the board; if a short develops inside there it can be hard to stop; with a tube mod like vamo, zmax, provari, etc, if something starts happening you can pop the cap off and let the battery out, but inside one of those ego batteries, if some wire starts shorting out inside there, you're kind of helpless to stop it.

As for vaping off the wall, I got a universal ac/dc adapter and rigged up an adapter to connect it to a vamo control head.
