Wow, I read the print edition of this newspaper for five years. Used to drive past Killebrew Statium on my way to work at Control Data.
I lived at the northernmost tip of Lakeville, had a Rosemount mailing address, and was physically closest to....Apple Valley.
You should be happy to not be here now - I can barely see over the snowbanks ;-)
I am very happy not to be there. The interesting thing is that the storm that pummelled the East Coast did a detour around the Washington DC area. I live 17 miles out. We got maybe 1/2 inch of snow.
When I lived in MN I had to put up a snow fence. My house was situated in such a way that the wind put a 6 foot high drift in front of my garage door and another one at the end of the driveway. They used road graders to come clear the side streets. It was foolish to shovel out the drift at the end of the driveway until after the road graders went through.

In my office I have a drawing of Minneapolis with a snow fence around the whole city - LOL!
