Good day guys,

I'm currently running a Darkhorse but want something new.
I was wondering what you guys think is a good upgrade from this.

I already have a set flavor, choose which is my daily photo, but for the times I just want some clouds what would be a nice update.. This would be going on a mech mod (Flagship) with 40amp IMREN 18650. Also have an ipv3 150w which I go back and forth as well

I currently have a Darkhorse (Coluds) Hobo3.1 (flavor) and Tugboat v1, royal hunter and maybe another 2 sitting around.

Also something that doesn't leak if that's possible would be nice.

Had my key on a Kennedy ...

@DreamWithin Thanks for the move and sorry for the posting in the wrong place.

@dcfluegel I was considering twisted messes, been hearing good things. But i've been leaning towards either comp kennedy or a veracity.
None of my local shops have them so really have not had the chance to check them out in person.

The veracity, I love the idea and love love me 2 post design but leaking worries me has any one had leaking issues which is why I keep going back to the kennedy.

I'm torn...

when you say 'veracity' do you mean the veritas or the velocity?

I have a velocity - and its a good rda - cool design, fairly easy to build on - but still love the twisted messes, hands down - have all 3 of the compvape attys (el cabron, twisted messes and 13 heavens) - all well built and chuck like fog machines

the el cabron is a 3 post deck - twisted messes and 13 heavens both have split center post (4 post deck essentially) - all 3 have really deep juice wells, big post holes (running a single zipper coil on el cabron, dual claptons on TM, 13H currently) for more involved builds... TM and 13H are basically same deck, different chimneys - though air flow is basically same... bigger bore drip tip on the TM - seems to hit a little harder, but that could be simply perception

I'm with dcfluegal on the Twisted Messes. I like it better than my Kennedy for a few reasons. You can build some phenomenal coils on it without worrying too much about space due to the 4 posts. I tend to always get juice leaking through the airflow holes on the Kennedy because of its bottom airflow design and I'm not a big fan of that. Twisted messes comes with the delrin chuff cap which means less burning on my lips when I build something especially hot. Lastly, it's just a lot more aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Again, everything is subjective.

Chipotle.
Kennedy is what you want, I've got my eye on the new 24mm but no mod to put that on right now(that will change!). All of my daily use devices are bottom direct airflow like the Kennedy, and it is just better IMO, the Kennedy Comp with four 3mm airholes in the deck is a proven competition design which has been used with success and won in numerous cloud competitions. Bottom airflow is worth the issues it comes with, it just performs better for me.

Originally I was put off by the Kennedy because of the tall size for an RDA, but after using one I was slapped awake and realized that function is much more important than form. Now I own six of them, plus a few devices that are very similar to them. Bottom airflow is now all I use, I can't really go back after experiencing it compared to any configuration of side or top airflow.

I've been personally looking into the Kennedy 24 as well. I have 2 mods it would fit nicely on; my Dimitri box (authentic) & my Fuhattan. Would love a 24mm direct to battery mod to throw it on though...
