I started with a 4081 which I love but I take it I can get a much longer lasting/stronger battery... I've looked at so many other PV's that my head is spinning... so if you'd help I would really appreciate it :)
I would like something 2 piece... the atty/cartridge thing sounds like a lot of trouble to me and I'm rather intimidated by the idea of drip tips though I've not done much research regarding them so far. I love the convenience of cartomizers (which i refill)... I would also like something reasonably priced... in the month I've been vaping I've already put nearly $300 into it (spent $100 on cartomizers before I caught on to refilling). I smoked a pack and a half a day before I started vaping...

As long as you realize that great battery life comes with the price of a bigger e-cig, you have no worries as there are tons out there.

Some will argue with me but most will not, I recommend something like an ego. You can then either get 510 cartomizers or throw in a 510 to 4081 adapter to continue using your current cartomizers that you have already spent money on.

*Edit* I forgot to add a link to a 510 to 4081 adapter. Considering I searched around to make sure there was such a thing, I may as well include the fruits of my labors (even though it only took a couple of minutes) :)

Then you need to get yourself a PV device that takes a 18650 battery with 3000 mah, this battery will last you a day, and a half, with using a 510 reg, or LR 510 cartomizer. But it will be a Mod, probably a lot bigger then what you are using now. You have to sacrifice some here for that long lasting battery.
Here are some that take a 18650 battery, Silver bullet 3.7/6 volts, Saber Touch 3.7/6 volts, Chuck 3.7/ 6volts, Cloud Tekk is 5.2 volts with two 18650 battery that will last you 3 to 5 days and has a usb charging system, and the Omega, plus their are some more out their. And $300 so far you spend I think is worth saving your life, VAPE TO LIVE! I have spent this year alone just on accessories, and only 2 Mods $1679.00 so far for the year, well worth the money, I was 2 packs a day at $7.50 a pack, $15.00 a day that would of been to date $4500.00 on analogs over half the savings of money, and my life.

I've been vaping for a month also and started with Modern Vapors 902 and LUX and am ready for a mod now, LOL...never ends. I hear you, I've spent almost 500 so far, hubby getting quite annoyed thinking this was supposed to be CHEAPER. I tried a 5v box mod, which you can find pretty cheap and wow...hard to go back from that. The vapor is so warm and brings out the flavor of the juice amazingly. Not sure all juice will be better at 5v, but waffle and juices I tried at VB's Hallo-vape party sure was!

I don't see any reason in you investing in a mod at this point considering what you say you want.

Since you say you love your 4081, I'm not recommending higher voltage. While you may prefer 5 volts if you tried it, many do not and there is no point in changing what you are used to if you are currently happy with it.

It was not very long ago that you had to go with a mod to get the battery life the ego provides. (my mom actually uses one of my old mods that has a smaller battery than the ego) I actually do use a mod, and therefore have never personally held an ego in my hands, so I'm not exactly sure of the size/weight difference between it and your 4081. While I'm certain it will be bigger, I'm also certain it will not take you long at all to adjust. I thought my V3 was freaking huge and heavy when I first got it, and now it doesn't seem bad at all (it is still heavy, but I only notice it because this honkin thing will pull on my shirt if I stick it in my shirt pocket).

An Ego will provide you with the bigger battery that you want, the adapter I linked to in my first post was $2.69, and everything will remain just the same as it is with the exception of a bigger battery and therefore longer battery life, which I assume is important for someone intimidated by drip tips :)

Wasn't suggesting a mod for her, just adding my personal experience, which is all any of us can do...geesh. Sorry to step on the ego toes.

My comment was in response to the post above yours :) Your post was simply relating to the OP

Oh...and I've never even laid eyes on an ego except on a computer screen, so I don't have any ego toes :p

I just know I would have saved a lot of money if I had gone straight to a mod.

I agree completely. If I'd known from the get-go there was even such a thing as a juice box, I'd have saved a buttload, not to mention all the frustration with constantly reloading carts. My Ali'i arrives in just a few days, and I'll never have to spend another penny trying to find the "right" device that meets my needs.

Sorry, hadn't read that one, somehow went right over it. I just know I would have saved a lot of money if I had gone straight to a mod. It just seems no matter what someone asks, the reply is get an ego, LOL.

Lol I understand. I've done that myself. At least we have it straightened out now :)

I only recommend the ego in this situation because it's a larger battery, which the OP wants, I know there is an adapter to go from it to the cartomizers she already has, and AFAIK it's reliable while remaining simple, which I felt was important based on the fact she said she was intimidated by drip tips.

Typically I don't find myself recommending the Ego a lot, simply because I recommend a 510 to someone that thinks they have to have a smaller device, and for someone that doesn't care about size I recommend a mod, simply because replacement batteries are readily available online at a fraction of the price of an ego. My recommendation here was because I felt that the OP falls somewhere in between and would probably be thrilled with an ego/adapter combo.

All that to say, I try to make my recommendations based on what someone is looking for vs what I like.
