Watermelon Lung 12mg - I tried this on higher voltages and on the eGo as well. I prefered the taste on the eGo with a standard Joye 510 2.8 so here we go.
TH - Not really bad for an all standard setup. It's below middle of the road but it isn't invisable or non-existant.
Vapor - Not too great. I'm not sure what the pg/vg ratio is, but on a standard setup, I would guess that this is all pg or 90/10 perhaps an 80/20 but vapor is barely present. Comparible to all pg juice.
Taste - To me, it's okay. Nothing special, nothing really grabbing me by the face with a smack and a slap, demanding that I succumb to this juice and order a larger bottle. No, nothing like that. I'm tasting the watermelon flavoring, tis very similar to a Jolly Rancher. Almost identical in my opinion. Along with the Jolly rancher, I am getting some sort of herbal extracting taste. Which really, doesn't bother me. I kind of like it in fact. It's mildly sweet and if the herbal-ness were absent, I imagine it would be too sweet for me - but the herbal-ness might be off-putting for some.
As I said, it's okay and though it's merely okay to me, I find myself vaping it between my usual vapes as sort of a pallate cleanser. The Lung Juice contains numerous herbal extracts that are said to nourish the lung as well as other organs, no way is it a cure of any sort though. I of course am taking this with a grain of salt, but I will continue to vape it until I can no longer bare the taste or until the bottle runs dry. But, I'm probably not going to order it again.
I'd give it a 6.5/10
High Voltage Octane Almond Joy 10mg - I tried this at various higher voltages with an Ikenvape HV 3.5ohm atty on my MonkeyBoxx VV.
TH - is present and isn't too bad. I tried it at 4.4, 4.6, 4.8 and 5volts - of all, I prefered the 4.4volt area. It was slightly cooler than the others, of course, but I found that any higher the vapor was a little too warm... which was surprising because I figured this was HV juice and would handle better at higher voltages. YMMV.
Vapor - Once again, I do not know the exact ratio of pg/vg but this juice does produce much better vapor than the Lung Watermelon. It's respectable and works well enough for me.
Taste - Now, here's the problem. This is called HV Octane juice, but to me, it starts tasting worse and worse the higher I turned the voltage up
As I had said earlier, I tried it at 4.4-5.0 volts in 0.2 increments. For the sake of brevity, I'll only mention at the two extremes; 4.4 and 5.0.
@4.4 - this juice isn't too bad. The coconut is definitely the front man in this juice. I can taste the almond but it does take some concentration to find it. I taste no chocolate at all. I might taste something that makes the juice a little sweeter. Like a sweeter coconut, but I taste no chocolate at all. The aftertaste is unsettling and though the coconut tastes good going in, afterwards the coconut lingers like running into an acquaintance at the supermarket whom you cannot stand to be around but just never shuts up and you end up talking for about 25 minutes longer than you'd wanted and end up missing most of your favorite show on the box...
@5.0 - WHOA! What happened!? The coconut is still dominating but tastes burnt. You can identify the nuttiness better which I guess is almond but I can't really tell do to the burnt coconut. Chocolate? Nah, I don't taste it. The one good thing about vaping it at higher voltages is that the aftertaste doesn't stick around as long. Perhaps it's because all of the flavor gets burnt up before it reaches my pallate.
Overall, I am sadly disappointed with this juice. I didn't really know what to expect with a HV juice, but I ordered some HV attys specifically to try it and it just didn't work for me. I'll try it again after a while to let it steep because the juice holds some promise. At 4.4 it was vapable albeit the aftertaste wasn't to my liking.
I'd give this stuff a 4/10
