Nic and flavor questions

I want to find my nic in a pg mix, but I want to know who has the best quality nic juice?

Also want to where to get the best quality VG..

I like strong flavors and the suddle one's so who sells the strong flavors?

Just getting into DIY and looking around for answers to these questions and I am sure I will come up with more questions later..

Hey Wendal! I got my first bottle of nic from Box Elder. It seemed to be of good quality. It was clear and very slightly pale yellow.

I read good things about RTS nic and used them for my second bottle. I haven't used it yet, but it looks similar to the nic I got from Box Elder (I got 100 mg/ml from RTS, so it's not exactly the same).

For VG I just used some HUMCO that I got from a drug store a while back for another application.

When I need VG again I will probably order from Amazon.com: Glycerin Vegetable Kosher USP - 1 Quart: Health & Personal Care I got their PG and it's fine. with Amazon Prime, shipping is free, so that's a bonus. A quart should last a good long time.

I have had no issues with the nic from box elder or crystal clear vaping. I am going to try RTS vapors next because I have heard good things.

For the VG look for usp kosher grade. It's the best there is for DIY.

For flavors I use perfumers apprentice, but flavourart is stronger in my experience. There is also capellas and flavor west which I have not used.

I've ordered Nic from 4 places and like Xtreme Vapings best. It's truly flavorless and crystal clear! My 2nd favorite is MyFreedomSmokes and I order from them when they are having a sale.

I had trouble with the BoxElder nic I got in May or June from Gourmet Vapor. It was really caustic smelling and tasting but other folks say that theirs was great! So perhaps I got a rare bad batch. I haven't given them another chance because I don't want to waste more money on juice that makes me cough!

It may have been an off batch. You can send it back for a refund within 30 days if you have an issue. Just end up paying for shipping.

Box elder has a company has left a little bad taste in my mouth, but at least the nic doesn't.

I tend to pick my nic up from VoidMist -- they frequently have 50% off sales, keeps the price point low and I've never had issues with their quality (not sure who they source from).
Perfumer's Apprentice, as already mentioned is a good source for flavors, pretty popular. I've also used a bit of Capellas, no problem, their caramel, cappuccino, and hazelnut are solid.
VG I tend to buy from Rite Aid. It's Glycerin USP, about $5 for 6 ounces. Probably sourced from Humco.

I have tried Nicotine base from Box elder, nicvape, extremevaping, void mist, and freedomsmoke. I have had no issues with box elder, extremevaping, and freedomsmoke. Nicvape I had to toss and void mist must have been hit with allot of 02. I tried it and it was acceptable. However, I worry about nicotine being shipped that is yellow already.

My preferred is Blue Mist Vaping nic in PG base. I have tried others, but the Blue Mist is fine.

Flavorart is more concentrated than other brands. TPA is another great flavor vendor.

For flavors, so far all I've tried is Capella's which IMO is strong enough and very accurate with their taste. FlavourArt is the one I'll try next b/c they have reformulated most of their juices with the vaper in mind, eliminating diacetyl in many of their juices and giving disclosure on which still contain it.

For nicotine base, I use only xtremevaping - good TH. MyfreedomSmokes is also highly rated for purity, taste and also has good TH according to reviewers. I've never tried RTS, but wouldn't hesitate to give them a shot based on reviews.

Throwing out another recommendation for rts. Not that I have anything to compare it to since it's the only juice I've tried, but it came clear, not yellow, and no strange "peppery" taste I've heard of some other juices having.

For flavors, I've tried LorAnn's and TPA. LorAnn's tasted like vaping jolly ranchers, or some other flavored sugar candy. Very sweet. Too sweet for my tastes, and I like sweet flavors. TPA has been fantastic with every flavor I've tried so far. Sweet when appropriate, but not overly so.
