At first I hated Mr-E's RY4 when I bought a 30ml bottle in 18mg a few months ago. Then I fell in love with it. I just received a 120ml bottle of it in 12mg and I read in the instructions to let it steep for at least 7 days. I tried it anyway, and its good! But it is different from the last one. It is more mild with less of a bite. Is that from less nic? Its not just less of a throat hit, like that sting you get from nic, but the flavor profile is more mild. Again, its good, but different. This time I can actually taste more of the tobacco flavor and its smooth and tasty, but thought i'd ask about how the nic might effect the flavor profile.
Also, this time the juice is a lighter color. I'd assume that's from less nic, right or wrong?

Yes, nicotine adds a little "bite" (throat hit) to your vape. Depending on the liquid, it also has a taste that's been described as "peppery". (If you've ever used a Nicotine inhaler, or some of the nicotine gums, you'd notice its presence).

And less nicotine can make the e-liquid lighter in color. Nicotine darkens when exposed to air, so it sort of makes sense that less nicotine = less dark e-liquid.

after 7 days the juice should have settled enough to have a stable consistency for its shelf like.
it might get a little more bite from the nicotine as the air settles out of the blend. also the over all flavor my or may not improve.
it depends on the users tastes.

that's why these discussions meander around for ever.

hope you like it any ways regards
mike
