I mix with 100mg/mL nic and this gives me quite a bit of leeway PG/VG wise because it is so concentrated. I can imagine that if you were starting with a low mg/ml it would take up a lot of space in your juice. If your base is 50 % of the whole mix and the flavoring is another 20% of the whole mix, there wouldn't be much room left for adjusting the PG/VG ratio. It seems to me that the 50/50 nic base would give you some PG/VG leeway in this instance. When I first started mixing my own juice, it took awhile to figure out that I like a 50/50 ratio. I was glad that the 100mg/mL gave me the space to experiment. I work with dangerous stuff and I am used to the precautions that need to be taken, so I didn't have issues with the 100mg/mL when I began mixing. I can imagine that some might prefer to work with lower concentrations.

What if you use 100mg of nic with a 75%PG/25%VG and want to adjust your final product to 50/50. You would use very little nic compared to the PG/VG that is added. How do you calculate for the small amount of nic compared to the mostly PG/VG that is added. Not including the flavoring (yet).

I've got a little spread sheet that I have been working on with Scubabadan that I could send you, if its OK with Dan. I would love to upload it to my signature but I don't know how. Can anyone help with the upload??? The sheet has some error checking that should be further tested. Also it doesn't work for 0 nic juice. It should work for any combination of anything else that is possible to do. You can think of recipes that just don't work and this will give you a warning rather than displaying negative numbers.

Springbird, I have the Quick Calc that Dan posted for PG/VG ratio but doesn't address my prior need to adjust the final Ratio. See my post above yours.

I'm working on one for my free calculator but need to calculate and take in consideration of volume of Nic, PG/VG % and added PG/VG volume & ratio %.

If you have 100mg nic that is 75PG/25VG and the final mix is to be 50/50 and I assume that you are using a PG based flavoring. Then for 10ml of juice with 20mg/mL you need:
2mL nic juice
2mL flavoring( assuming 20%)
1.5 mL PG (no nic)
4.0 mL VG (no nic)
.5 mL water/PGA (assuming 10% of VG in recipe)

Hows this work for ya?
I added in a desired PG/VG ratio fields so it will allow you to define how much PG/VG % to use in the final mix.

Hey Dan. It looks good but to me at least it's unclear as to the final amounts in ml of both PG and VG to use.
Also, may not be a biggy but if you put in 100% in cell E5 it make the total's cells wig out.

Thanks Dan, So far it looks really good. I'm going to play with when I get a chance. Your the best and definitely a genius around spreadsheets.
You to Robin (Springbird), thanks for your help also.

The last line that states "Needed to Add to make QTY at xx/xx PG/VG" Shows two colums to the right, The first is PG and the second is VG. Those are the amounts of PG and VG to add to the mix to get the ratio of PG vs VG in your mix.
On the current example, to make 50/50 PG/VG mix you would use .83ml of PG and 2.83ml of VG. Now I also added in the formulas the Phrases "Too Much PG" and "Too Much VG" rather than let the numbers go negitive. I hope this helps.
Dan

ADDED:

Sorry missed the DIV/0 error, v3 fixes that problem.
